Exactly what I needed at a good price. Quality is excellent and it's very portable.

Works as intended. Not a "Streamlight", but handy enough if you have extra 20V DeWalt batteries to use.

This is a very bright light. Can be used as a spotlight, work light or flashlight. The flexible head is very useful, along with the metal hang strap. Would not hesitate to to buy another, if in need.

Flashlight was light for holding and very bright. Very useful for the tight, small projects around the house that require extra light.

Works well. Lasts a quite awhile charged. Good quality and priced to sell

I own this (DCL040), DCL050 (flood 1000 lumen), and DCL077B (warm white flood 2000 lumen). This is the only one of the three that does not use PCM (pulse code modulation) to control current to the LED. Either that, or it's running at a super high frequency. As long as I don't notice the flicker, I'm 100% good with it.It is small, light weight, and can run for an entire day with a 5Ah battery.110 lumen might seem low these days, but a lot of those numbers are overinflated anyway. No, it's not as bright as my other lights, but they're meant for different uses.As a basic flashlight, this one is a winner. The switch is physical, which might be why it only has one brightness level (ON or OFF).I think this could be a good thing, since there won't be any parasitic draw while OFF, even with a battery attached to it.I would've preferred warm white color temperature, but well, we can never have everything.

I'd give it 5 stars if the beam was adjustable while holding in your hand. Overall, this is a excellent light. All my DeWalt 20v batteries work. Adjustable tilt of the light is so helpful. Pretty well balanced to hold or to place on a surface to illuminate the work area. 5 stars for work area use. I'm a Maglite user. I own 6 of them, a AA, 2 triple C lights, 2 double D and a 6 cell D light. I'm now a convert to this DeWalt light. Although the 6 cell Mag makes a great heavy club. No batteries to purchase and I always have a charged battery for this light. 2 chargers and batteries ranging from 2 amps to 8 amps on hand. If you have DeWalt 20v tools, this is a must purchase, if you don't, buy it and welcome to the start of the DeWalt cordless tool world. That later option, you'll need to buy a DeWalt 20v battery and charger or a DeWalt equivalent which you could use with future DeWalt tool buys. As a retired A&P aircraft mechanic, I wish this light was available years ago.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can see clearly now — no more mysterious shadow monsters! 😂This flashlight is like strapping a spotlight to your hand — I was aiming it at the bushes and honestly half expected a UFO to land once I turned it on. Whether I’m walking the dog after dark, checking the back porch, or just trying to find the socks I dropped last night, this thing cuts through darkness like it has a personal vendetta against shadows. The beam is bright, crisp, and doesn’t make everything look like a blurry blob (seriously, goodbye guesswork). It’s rugged enough that I don’t worry about accidentally smacking it against something, yet light enough to carry without feeling like I’m prepping for a night hike. Whether it’s a power outage or just “where did I put my wallet,” this flashlight has saved the day more than once.If you want dependable illumination that feels like having a tiny sun in your pocket, this is a solid pick!
