This is a well-made lamp socket that provides a nice touch of class. It has a fine screw-together construction rather than the push-together method of commodity sockets. The brass stem and turn-wheel also stand out.The interior switch is the same as any other made in U.S. or Mexico switch that you can buy. In this case it is a true ON/OFF switch, not an adapted 3-way switch that requires extra clicks.

We are refurbishing an antique English Wedgewood bone china lamp. The socket and cord had been replaced a long time ago with U.S.-made Leviton pieces that were of high quality but had become brittle with age. Time for new hardware that ensures electrical safety while preserving the antique aesthetic of the lamp. B&P Lamp had exactly the socket and cord combination we were looking for: solid brass with an antique finish and matching cord. Absolutely perfect; in fact, it's hard to tell which pieces are original and which are brand new. I'm actually excited to shop B&P again to upgrade some of our other lamps in the house. Most highly recommended.

Arrived sooner than expected. Solid heavy brass construction with excellent polished finish. This socket is a much better quality than the original one that came with my lamp. Very pleased.
