As described definitely let's you know anytime power goes out they come right on. They're bright white light. They're great if you need a little light to walk down a dark hallway they turn on & off by them selves for those that don't want to use hall light all the time or hands are full.they are handy flash lights as well I'd buy again lots of multi uses

I purchased these in 2017 and they still work like a champ. I just had to look them back up because my dad said he loved them when he came over and wanted them for his birthday. I have never had a issue with them and like I said I purchased the ones I currently had in 2017 it is now 2025 and they have been dropped and my kids have loved and abused them and they still charge like the day I got them they last for days when we lose power and they are still super bright I can't express how muchmuch I love these

I might have another review on this product but saw this previous order and love them so much (I've ordered more than once, explaining any multiple reviews) I thought I'd write this review.I have these in several places throughout my home. I'm in Atlanta where we tend to lose electric routinely. And I hate having to navigate in the dark. So one, these come on immediately when electric is lost. Two, even with power, you can set them to either come on whenever it detects motion and darkness - handy for some areas where a little extra light makes navigating easier if I don't stop to turn on a light, or to not come on until the power is lost. Depending on the area I have some set one way, some the other. Three, I hated to remember where I last put the flashlights that I used to have everywhere. Now if I need a flashlight I grab one of these that I ALWAYS have available and in sight. Four, "flashlight" function works two way - either the unit can set on its end and the lights are on perpendicular, handy if using it to work on something, or you can switch to the lights at the other end and you have a "standard" flashlight/torch.

I like to have a rechargeable plugged-in all the time, just in case I need a quick light, and this one is replacing a 20 yo unit with a single bulb, that has always been very dim, barely useable. This light, however, is quite bright, both the 5 LED front flashlight, and, especially, the 15 LED side light. The motion detector is a nice feature, as well. I have mine in the hallway between the garage and the kitchen, so it lights up as I enter, which is great when the house is dark. The unit is very lightweight and sits nicely in the charging cradle, lighting automatically, as soon as it's removed. It's plastic, and not water-resistant, so somewhat fragile, I think, better used inside, and only carefully, if outside.I deducted 1 star as I attempted to register for the 1 year warranty, with the instructions on the tag, but that website does not appear to exist. I called the phone number listed, and got the voicemail for a company I didn't recognize, so not sure what's going on with this misinformation. However, inexpensive as it is, not really too big a deal to replace, if it fails, for most folks.I recommend this product highly.

Love these nightlight flashlights. I'm ordering another set. Everyone who comes by loves them too and asks where they can get them. The motion-detection feature is a great improvement from a similar product I purchased years ago..It's great to have one at the base of the stairs in case I need to go to the circuit box in the event of a power issue. I also have bathrooms without windows so there's no natural light; they are very dark - these are a great addition. I also have one near the front door so there's a bright light to enable you to see the light switch. They are so convenient to grab when you need a portable bright light, whether it's to illuminate a dark, deep closet or look under the couch or any dark space. No need to hunt for a flashlight (and then batteries for it.)Ladies - they are also great to use with a magnifying mirror to groom your eyebrows.Absolutely love these and can't wait to get more. (I keep finding places I need another one! The kitchen, the garage, etc.)

This arrived on time and was working out of the box (it had at least a partial charge). We needed an emergency light that is always ready for use. We just happened to plug it in at a poorly lit storage hallway that is rarely used. So for us the fact that this light is very, very bright was a plus. When someone does enter the area, the motion sensor kicks in and most of the area is well lit. This sounds like a stupid point to make but most of the inexpensive lights that we tried were not nearly as bright as this unit is. In fact, if I had it plugged in the bedroom or if I was looking for a night light this item would be too bright for me (it would wake me up at night). But then again you could always turn off the motion sensor so that it's just a ready to use light. It's lightweight and portable, but only temporarily because of the wall plug charger (I couldn't see taking it camping, etc). We've only been using this for a couple of days - and if it doesn't hold a charge or breaks in the near future I will edit this review. But I was so impressed with it that I wanted to share this great buy.

I purchased this to replace a model no longer available.Ok, this works as described. Plug it in and it’s a motion sensor light. Power goes out and it turns on automatically. What it also does is emit a light so bright that it will shine into the neighbors windows. This light blinded me the first time it automatically came on and I almost busted down the stairs.I told my husband but he didn’t believe me. Until he walked by the light at 4 am and yelled out obscenities while waking the rest of us still asleep.I can compare the lumens with the sun. Yes. With the damn sun. It literally lights up my second floor plus the entire stairway while lighting up my neighbors bedroom. If you plug one into every outlet in your house, NASA will think they have discovered another planet. But if you do use more than one, please make sure you are wearing eye protection.I tried to take a picture but all that shown was a brightly lit screen. If you need something to replace lighthouse lanterns, this is the light for you.Want to direct air traffic? I highly recommend this light.Put one in every window of your house on Christmas Eve so you can assure the kids that Santa won’t miss your house. Neither will the satellites in orbit.

These are the best nightlights I have ever owned. When the nightlight is on, it throws enough light to light up an entire room, not just a small circle on the floor like most nightlights with this feature. They consist of two parts - the nightlight unit and the holder/charger. The nightlight unit itself consists of 15 bright white LEDs. IN the dark, the unit remains off until it senses motion. Then the lights come on and stay on for as long as motion is detected, with a minimum of 15 seconds. You can remove the unit from the holder (which plugs into an outlet and holds the nightlight unit). If the electricity to the house shuts off when it is dark out, the unit turns on and stays on until power is restored or you turn it off manually. You can lift the unit out of the holder to use as a flashlight. There is a three position switch on the unit that allows you to switch between the 15 LED nightlight, a 5 LED flashlight built into the end of the unit or both off. In an emergency, the nightlight is much brighter, but I imagine it will drain the battery faster than the flashlight, so take your pick. The flashlight won't light up your backyard, but it will get you down the hallway. The shell is made of white and silver plastic, but they look expensive. The rounded shape fits nicely in my hand. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
