This is one of the best lights we have ever owned. The durability is insane. It's fallen down the stairs a several times, been hit against the wall and still it worked. Even when the lamp head broke, the wires held on and the lights functioned as normal. The brightness is decent for the price and the changing colors with shapes is a classic nightlight feature. I highly recommend this toddler lamp especially for its excellent durability. Will purchase again.

The regular lamp color is a warm white, which is great for walking around the house at night when you're turning all the lights off and going up to bed. There's a dimmer switch, so you can make it pretty light, or quite bright.For the Stars light function, I would wish that you could choose which color and stand that color , but it runs through all of the colors pretty quickly.It's lightweight and cute. I use it every night. I used to have to use my cell phone flashlight or front light. This is much better.

I would give this toddler night lamp 10 stars if I could! It has completely transformed our bedtime routine. The design is incredibly user-friendly; it is so easy to turn on and off, even for a toddler. I love the versatility of the lighting options. It features a regular warm light that can be dimmed to the perfect level for sleeping, as well as a star projection mode that cycles through beautiful colors.The best part, however, is the portability. I love that it doesn’t need to be plugged in to work. You just charge it for about an hour, and it stays powered for at least three full nights. Not having a cord near the crib provides such peace of mind, and we can even take it on trips or move it around the house easily. It is durable, functional, and honestly the best purchase I’ve made for my child’s room!

I bought this lamp for my 3-year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. The functionality is simple. You press the button once for it to turn on and can use the dimmer dial to set it to your desired brightness. You press the button again to transition to the star projector mode where the light cycles through different colors (red, green, blue, regular light) and projects starts onto the ceiling. You press the button a third time to turn off the light. You can also long-press the button to activate the 30 minute auto shut-off feature which we use every night as our daughter likes to fall asleep with the stars projecting. Also, the lamp is lightweight and made of plastic so I don’t think it would break if my daughter accidentally knocked it off her nightstand.I almost didn’t purchase this light because a number of people complained in these reviews that the light stopped being able to charge and/or won’t hold a charge. I can’t say for sure as I’ve only had the light for one month but they may have not fully charged it prior to the first use and/or over-charged the light at some point as the instructions say that it must be fully charged before first use and you’ll damage the rechargeable battery if it’s “charged for a long time.” The light takes about 4 hours to fully charge and you can tell it’s done charging because the red indicator light turns off when it’s fully charged. In our case, we charged it once and it hasn’t needed recharging after using it every night for one month. I’ll try to remember to update this review if we have issues with subsequent charges but thus far have been very impressed with this little light. Also, if we do encounter issues with the rechargeable battery, the instructions say the light can be operated the wired connection (in addition to the battery) so hoping it can still be used if/when the battery fails.Overall, I’d highly recommend this lamp if you’re looking for a toddler night light. Great product and great value.

As a mom of an almost 3 year old toddler—this lamp is one of my favorite items I’ve ever purchased for him! It was especially helpful since he was still transitioning to going to bed by himself. We turn on light/lamp setting to read him a book before bed, and he falls asleep with the star projector setting. The lamp part is a warm light and fairly bright, but because the lamp is so small the light doesn’t reach far. Fine for us though. We don’t use the dimming setting much, but could be good as a night light that way. And a couple of the colors on the star projector setting are a little too bright for me (but most of the colors are nice and dim).The lamp is small and compact, but it’s the perfect size for a toddler. The single button is simple and easy for him to use—one push is the lamp light, two pushes is the stars, one more turns it off. It has a tiny handle for him to carry it around (which he did constantly at first, he loves the lamp!) The lamp is pretty sturdy because he’s dropped it multiple times and it hasn’t been damaged yet. It keeps a charge for a long while—it’s been left on the entire night for a couple nights in a row before needing a charge. It does take a while to charge fully, FYI.Recommend! It was a good price for a great value. We’ve only used it 2-3 months now though, so I can’t comment on its longevity. But it’s sturdy, light setting is pretty bright, the stars look super cool on the ceiling in a dark room, and it’s toddler approved!

Our little one (3yo) loves it.He started having trouble with a dark room, as is probably normal, so we tried this. He LOVES watching the different shapes on the ceiling.Now that he has had it for a while, he loves "reading" before bed, so having the light function is wonderful. He turns it to stars when he is done "reading", and goes to sleep.Easy enough to operate that even a little kid 2-3yo can do it. Parents just need to make sure it is charged!!!The battery life when using only the stars function is really good.The only downside I've found is that the light function does NOT go dim enough to be used as a nightlight anywhere near the child's bed. Across the room, maybe.The amount of light from the stars mode is perfect for a nightlight near the bed.Updated 19 Mar 2023:So, the first one died. It just quit charging without warning. It is not drawing any current, so I suspect the charging port has gone bad. It lasted about 18months. Now to he fair, there were a number of times that someone would snag their toe(s) and yank on the charging port. So it's life hasn't always been smooth.Also, the original one was a USB-micro, the new one is a USB-C. Our phones are all USB-C, so it is nice to have this light use the same cord.
