This lamp shade is absolutely beautiful. What a find!
[Color: Black/Gold]
I'm in love with this shade. It's quality is excellent. It's very affordable. I love how unusual it is. It really is a conversation piece. Nothing but compliments. It made an old lamp look like a whole different lamp. Love, love love

Sturdily constructed, looks just like the photos.Would definitely recommend for that special lamp base you might have!

I love this lamp shade!! I have two expensive lamps, and the shades were getting old and did not look nice anymore. I looked up the price of a new shade, and it was very expensive. Then, I saw these at Amazon, and I couldn't wait to try them. They aren't bulky and are easy to clean. They are beautiful when they are lit. I am thinking of changing all of my lampshades to these! The assembly was very easy! I feel that these will last a very long time. I couldn't be happier!
[Color: Gold Tree]
They are beautiful lampshades and well made. No assembly required unless you count screwing the top on to hold the shade. I ordered 2 to go in my basement on each side of my couch. I finished my laps off with LED colored bulbs so the mood of the room is awesome, for movie night if I use colors and you can see through the shade.
[Color: Bronze Gold Arrow]
Looked great but didn't allow much light through. I used this on a floor lamp I use for reading light. I had to return it because not enough light filtered through.

These are SO nice! Our curtains are tree branches with leaves, and since our house sits on a wooded lot, the lampshades fit the theme! We bought two of these, and the floorlamp with this shade that sits by the wall casts a pretty shadow at night. They give plenty of light in the room - more so than solid lampshades. We love to have friends over, and I have a group that meets at our house often. Already, we've had several compliments. These are easy to clean with a feather duster, though I feel they hold on to less dust than the cloth shades. They are made for full size/larger fixtures - we have 2 floorlamps. They may be too big on a side table on top of a regular lamp, unless you have a larger side table (and larger lamps!) Personally, I think they are perfect for floorlamps. The metal is black on the outside, and a subtle gold (not very shiny) on the inside. However, the outside black is etched for the gold to subtly come through, so these give the illusion of almost looking dark brown. At any rate, they do not clash with our somewhat cherry/oak wood pieces and dark brown leather furniture. These give the room a classy/eclectic touch. For the price, these are well made and are, frankly, striking! I highly recommend these lampshades!

I was looking for a lampshade to compliment and give new life to this dated lamp that had belonged to my grandmother. I decided on this shade for color match, size, and interest. I love the outcome. Here is what I learned. The lampshade is true to the dimensions given on Amazon site.It is die cut metal with two seams that are virtually invisible because they blend into the tree pattern. The color is true to my screen color - matte iron black outside and burnished gold inside.Item arrived on time and well packaged with no scratches, dents, or other defects. The metal of the lampshade is thick enough to not be flimsy at all, but also thin enough to not be heavy. It took a little bending of the "spokes" on the shade to get it to sit level, but I managed it and nothing broke. The shadow from this shade is not intense or forest like; if you are looking for a stunning shadow effect, this is not the shade you want. For me, a regular lightbulb was too bright for this lamp because there is nothing muting the light between the tree pattern - it is open. I solved this by using an amber glass Edison light bulb - which even at 60W was not overly bright, still lit my space, and had the added advantage of making the burnished gold interior of the lamp glow warmly. The picture I provided shows the light more intense than it actually is - I am not a photographer. It would be even dreamier if you had a dimmer for this. I am going to add a dimmer switch to my lamp cord.
