I love these solar lights! They look awesome on my umbrella and were easy to put on. 2 of the 8 strands did each have one light that wasn’t working….luckily for me…I have an umbrella with only 6 ribs or spokes…and I wrapped the other 2 strands around the top of the pole. Good purchase!

I looked at so many different outdoor umbrellas and red. So many different reviews before buying this one, and I am very pleased with my purchase. It was easy to assemble, and easy to use once it was in place. I purchased the separate feet to weigh it down, and it was the perfect umbrella for the beach at our lake house all summer. I really like the cover and the little folding stick that helps reach high enough to put the cover on and take it off is genius. The material is thick and stood up to the winds of our lake house all summer, and it was handy to have two adjustable options for how the umbrella sits. I definitely recommend this umbrella, in fact, I'm going to buy one for our backyard for next summer.

I was extremely hesitant to buy these lights based on people's reviews. I'm always surprised at what people say (for example the person who thought they actually came with an umbrella at this price and others about the harsh light or lack of light). These lights are just as advertised, a nice warm light that certainly puts enough illumination on the table in the evening without being overpowering. I put them on a 13-ft 8 ribbed umbrella. I will say that they are a little challenging to put up at first because they have 8 strands for an 8 ribbed umbrella as advertised but it is awkward to figure out where to start them so you have to attach them to one of the struts which causes them to be slightly off center. They are advertised to go on a 10 foot umbrella but each stand of lights goes almost went to the end of our 13 foot umbrella so we were happy. The ties that come with it were not quite large enough for our umbrella ribs, but I think that was because we have a high quality umbrella and the ribs were thicker than cheaper umbrellas, so we just used other zip ties. It was not a problem. That said, I'm extremely happy with this purchase (and there are very few options for umbrella replacement lights) and am glad I ignored the people who gave negative reviews.

AMENDED REVIEW: Was working outside and noticed the lights were ON!!! I don't know how, since I couldn't feel a switch beneath the rubber button, and I pressed on the area a number of times, but apparently either I did something right or they were in the ON position when arrived. ?? Either way, they are ON, I don't have to remove and replace (YAY!) and they appear to be a warm white. HAPPY NOW!Was excited at first to hang the umbrella lights. Charged the solar battery for a day and a half. (Hind sight advice: check if lights come on before hanging!) Went to all the trouble of hanging and securing the umbrella lights, by myself (no easy feat), only to find that the "ON/OFF" switch felt like an empty rubber covering with no actual "switch" underneath it! There was NO WAY TO TURN THE LIGHTS ON!Very frustrating, after doing the work all for nothing. I've asked for a replacement, so I'll know this time to charge and CHECK before hanging. We'll see how they actually work........when they actually work!

Pretty and bright enough to add evening ambience, but one string does not work out of the box. Wish we had tested it before installation as too much hassle to return now. UPDATE - the company contacted and are sending a whole replacement set without me having to complain or return the other ones back - absolutely fantastic customer service. We have been using the other set for a couple of weeks now though and the light is just perfect and they last well, so looking forward to the full set arriving soon.
