Linen Lamp Shade 16 x 8.5 x 8.5 inch for Shelf Floor Lamp

Was in need of a new lamp shade of this exact size since my previous one was old and yellow.

It’s a really nice replacement lampshade for a couple of 5-6 year old lamps I have where the old shades had been damaged. Seems sturdy and has a cloth-like texture on the outside.Taking off 1 star since there were some dirty finger smudges on it upon arrival. Seemed like someone with dirty hands/hot Cheeto dust had folded them and put inside the plastic. Was supposed to be brand new, and I suspect they sent me the “used, like new” option instead. Wiped off okay with a wet/soapy Q-tip so all’s well that ends well but still annoying to have to clean/restore a brand new product.

It is true white, not off white not yellowish.It is exactly what I was looking for, but ordered others before that said they were white, but were not when they arrived.

I bought Two of this for both of my Shelf Floor lamps. Nice quality, very well constructed. Fit perfectly no effort at all to put it in place, less than a minute. The shape, the shade is a shown, and it looks great. I put 5000K 300 Lumen Led bulbs and the white light comes through great, my old ones were more like a cream, this was a major improvement.

My old Zen corner lamp came with a yellow shade that had deteriorated and turned super yellow over time, to the point where I hated turning on the lamp anymore with amber it had become. Finding this replacement was a super easy buy despite the notable price. It swapped right in once it arrived, the light in the room became wonderfully more white and bright, and the old shade crumbled into pieces as I folded it one last time.Mine fit perfectly as it is the old old old model of this lamp, do measure as per the other comments. Highly recommended to give new life to these modern lamps (and let my Hue bulb do what I paid it to!).

I have for the longest. Wanted to find new shades for my lamps. I purchased them at two different times. They were not the same color but they were both yellow. They've gotten dirty stained and yellower in the following years. I contemplating getting new lamps all together and getting rid of these. The light that's able to come from them is so much brighter. I can't wait to go to the other lamp and change it out. They do come in two different sizes. I saw a lot of people complain that they were too large and they had to swap out the posts. But after reading and measuring I purchased the smaller of the 2 and it fits perfectly. I changed to smart bulb just incase I need to dim the light.

I wasn't able to find a true white lampshade for the shelf floor lamp style lamps anywhere. I even bought white stencil sheets as I was prepared to attemp to custom make my own shades as a solution, until luckily I found these. These were literally the only shades I found online after searching all over and it's perfect if you're tired of the ugly yellow/warm tinge lamp shades. You can see the difference in the attached pictures that the original shades that came with my lamps are yellow on the inside, casting a warmer light even though my leds are set to daylight (soft white). These shades are lined with white material giving you an accurate light color if you're using led lights to whatever color you have them set to. The first picture is from the original shades and the second are from these (note: the led color was not changed). The difference is amazing and looks so much better. If you prefer a warmer light instead of soft, you can easily change your led lights to warm and it will accurately cast that.It should be noted that these shades are about an inch taller than the original shades and stick out a little as seen in the pictures. This isnt too noticeable and doesn't bother me but it can probably easily be cut to size if needed.Overall I couldn't be happier with these shades and the upgrade it made to my shelf style floor lamps. Saved me from having to buy new ones that already come with white shades.
