Installed in a chandelier and didn't work. Went to unscrew it and found it came apart. The base of the light unscrews from the tower of LEDs. Got it out (pic 1). Got it back together (pic 2) by screwing the pieces back together.Read on the box that it should not be installed with a dimmer. Ah, maybe why it didn't work in the chandelier.Went to the hall light that also uses tiny base bulbs. These hadn't been replaced in 10 years (all the time we've been here). Turns out the light holds 4 bulbs. Unscrewed the first and it came apart from the base. What is with bulbs tonight? First the LED and now the incandescent? But at least the LED still goes back together. The incandescent took 30 minutes, then we gave up and left it. Pulled the other one out in one piece. Put in the new LED. Turned it on and it was brighter than the two incandescents had been. So what did we do next? We put in two more LEDs.The hall is bright.Went to put the fixture back on and the bulbs are too long for the cover (pic 3, the oversized hands are those of my son who is 6'4.5" or 194 cm). Read on the box not to put in a small enclosure. Wonder if the length was to stop people like us who don't read boxes. The hall light no longer has a cover.
