Dimmable A21 LED Bulb

Arrived on time, did seem brighter than the 1600 lumen bulbs I swapped these in for.

I have 4 floor lamps in each corner of the room. Had been using LEDs from about 10 years ago which were the brightest I could get at the time. Always felt like living in a cave. These bulbs are far far brighter and good color. Happily surprised and pleased with them.

This bulb is indeed super-bright! However, be aware that is also MUCH heavier than a corresponding incandescent bulb. It is also somewhat larger in diameter - such that the when I tried the new bulb in the fixture for which I intended it, the globe of the fixture would not fit over the bulb.However, I am looking forward to using these bulbs in applications that are not restrictive, size-wise.

Most of the reviews here are accurate: the bulbs are larger than regular bulbs, the full brightness is VERY bright indeed, they are quite heavy. But we have had absolutely no flickering issues and, with a dimmer switch (which many of these sorts of bulbs will not accept) they allow adequate lowering of the light to c.50% if desired. They cannot be lowered to a dim, "romantic" level, but we have candles for that! I would buy them again, but I do not anticipate having to replace them for a good long time.

Same size as a normal light bulb but as bright as an old 150 watt bulb. Fits inside of overhead mounted ceiling fixture. Highly recommend for large dark room

I wanted bright, BRIGHT LED bulbs. And these are them. Like, just about as bright as you can get before getting into specialty bulbs. The dimming function is pretty important, as you can't look at them when they're at full brightness (e.g., if they're in a table lamp within eyesight).I can't comment on longevity, obviously, but the light color (~2600° K) is spot on — warm and cozy. And bright. Did I mention that?

Excellent brightness and color temperature seems to be right on at 2,700K. According to my Kill-a-watt meter this bulb draws 25 watts, NOT 21 watts as stated on the box. I have no ideas as to longevity, heck I just got'em. What did surprise me for a 21 watt bulb, the plastic neck part gets REALLY HOT, so be carefully taking out a bulb that has been running several hours.
