Amazing light especially for creative folks!Amazing light especially for creative folks!

This light fixture is the bees knees for creative people. I love how this turned out for my branch light. I also had a light fixture that needed to be able to be turned on and off since this particular one didn't have a switch! Good older home electric wiring! And because this one came with a remote it really worked well. And you can set up how many bulbs you want to have on with the remote!Ease of installation:Super easy to install.Value for money:Amazing value! Totally worth the money

This light is the only light I could find for the purpose in which I needed it for but the metal plastic things they display for hanging on the wall are definitely on there for good unless you get wire cutters and crack them off. Really annoying to discover 1) I needed to break off part of the light to do the thing I needed to because those bits were not removable and 2) I needed an electrician cause thinking this was a white, black and ground wire was a joke. Electrician came in and told me half the wires in this thing were really not even needed. But here is the final product of my idea and it works for me after I literally had to mangle it! Still 5 stars though cause there is not another option really for this design but this 14 head light which I still feel is a steal (except for how much you will spend on that many lightbulbs)

I replaced a rectangle dining table and China cabinet with this round table and sideboard in the dining area, which is a rectangular room about 10x12. The new round dining table pictured seats 8 comfortably and is 6' across. The sideboard is wider than the China cabinet was, so the two of them need a lot more width than the previous dining set. Both pieces are upcycled and are exactly what I wanted, BUT I did not measure the room before putting them in it. They were bought separately, and my eyeballing was off quite a bit.In order for the table and sideboard to fit, the table had to be placed far left of the room's center. The old fixture was a 90's acrylic chandelier that was centered on the ceiling. Aesthetics aside, there was not enough light to see properly on the left hand side of the round table. And there is no other way to position it and keep the sideboard with enough room to walk comfortably around the table. I panicked and was considering not keeping the sideboard, but I love it and need the storage as well as the counter space it provides when serving.I remembered that my granddaughter had a spider chandelier in her room for several years, and I always loved the dramatic look of it. This particular light was the best deal for the number of bulbs it holds. A great deal actually at the time I purchased 4/2023.Even though most of the tentacles/legs are pulled left on the ceiling to provide light to that side of the table, there are enough placed to the right, front and back to create a look that pulls the eye to the lights rather than the fixture placement in the ceiling. There is plenty of length to create the balanced look I wanted and provide the amount of light needed. Another great feature is the quality of the anchor plates for the tentacles. They slide easily on the cord for exact placement. I was a bit concerned about screwing them into the acoustic ceiling, but they did fine even when using a drill.I had my electrician install the light, and there are two things to know. First, I think this fixture must use LED bulbs or your light switch will get very hot trying to keep this many bulbs lit. Unless maybe your home is very new, but even then, I still think you'll need LED due to the number of bulbs. I got incandescent bulbs initially, and the wattage used was too much even when my electrician came back and installed a new dimmer switch (and with the fewest number of bulbs turned on low dim).I also had him disconnect/bypass the option to use only a certain number of bulbs because it's clunky IMO. To get all the bulbs on, it required pressing the dimmer switch 5 or 6 times. The lowest amount of bulbs come on with the first press then more are added with each press until all are on.The remote didn't work once this option was removed, but IIRC, it also had to be pressed many times before all the bulbs would be lit. I was kind of bummed to lose the remote and ability to control the number of bulbs being lit by got over it quickly because the light is just so awesome when it's on. But especially since this home is an Airbnb, practicality and ease of function are more important. I had forgotten the light had a remote and that not having all the bulbs illuminated was even an option until I started writing this review. I love the soft yet dramatic look of having all the bulbs on, but turned as low as possible, for a night light type vibe.People always comment and compliment the fixture, even when it's not turned on. But more importantly, it puts out brilliant light. Other lights with this many bulbs were $200 and up, so if this one is still around $100, it's a steal. I highly recommend getting it.

Order the battery, Not IncludedOrder the battery, Not Included

[Size: 14 HEAD, Size: 14 HEAD]
Order the battery, not included, and is required. If the battery, very special and hard to find, would have been included this would be a 6 star review. The product description says battery not needed… not true. Easy to install, looks amazing, everyone that sees it loves it. Without the battery only three of the 14 lights come on. I’m installing in a remote location and now waiting a week to receive the battery. Also, if you have it hardwired, and there is a power failure, when the power comes back on, the 3 lights will turn on and stay on until you turn it off with the remote. We installed it at our summer house and got a call mid-winter that our lights were on (they stayed on for 4 months until we returned.). I suggest a switch or breaker that you can turn off if you plan to leave or if you have frequent power outages; the 3 lights will turn on with every power restore.

lots of light

[Size: 14 HEAD]
Overall I really liked the light. The ability to light up different amounts of bulbs is fantastic.First, installation was pretty easy. Installed by myself in a couple of hours. This was a replacement for a track light on a second story ceiling so that added time due to moving scaffolding around to get to all the lines. I didn't really like the wire connector but it did make for a faster connection. You will need a small Phillips head screw driver if you decide to use the provided connector.I first connected all the lights and used the remote to mark which lights were A,B, and C so I could place the lights where they would work best for each group.I would have liked some of the lines to be a bit longer to spread some of the lights out a little further because there is a lot of light when all are turned on. I purchased some color changing led bulbs that can be dimmed to cut down on the brightness when all the lights are on. This also made it possible to set the mood with different colors.I like that the remote allows you to change the number of lights that are on. If you select A you get 3, B you get 4, and C you get 7. You can also have combinations of those selections; i.e. A+B you get 7, A+C you get 10, etc.For the price, I think the light is a fantastic deal.
