I knew I was taking a chance buying something at this price point that didnt have a lot of reviews. I like the design of the light itself. I searched many sights and this was the only one that met what I was looking for.The directions are garbage. It suggests that this just screws into the ceiling sheetrock, but that is unsafe and no-compliant. You need a box. The support arms dont exist or werent packed in the box, so you really need to find a way to install this so that its both safe and doesnt risk falling. After installing with a dimmer switch, its clear that by dimmable, they mean only by the remote. There is no option to dim this light through a switch. Furthermore, the settings dont hold in the memory. I particularly like the bright daylight setting at 6k, but regardless of whether you turn it off by the remote or light switch it defaults to either other option but the one I want. I do agree with previous comments that it does look cheap, but Im ok with it since its for an investment condo and the light defers notice of the quality. Will it last long, who knows. I contacted Amazon to try to get in touch with the seller about the missing parts, but of course there is no option to contact the seller and you are limited to replacing the entire unit. It is my mistake to have tossed the packaging before installing. I know better and thats on me. Regardless, I would have just returned it and gone with a more expensive option had I not tossed the box and actually hung it. Its there to stay for now. But my recommendation is to just spend the extra money for a chandelier that has reputation and feedback and contains what you need to install without garbeled up instructions. Id pass, but thats my opinion.
