Electrician installed two of these exterior lights. They replaced commercial style fixtures and look much better. They're costly but seem to be very well made. Our electrician recommended them.

I love this light, although I love it even more than I might if I paid full price. I bought it from Amazon Warehouse in perfect condition. It was quite a project to install, but that's because I had to buy a mounting block for my 4" siding and then modify that and the hardware to match my old-house electrical outlet configuration (substituting longer screws and a different crossbar). The parts and instructions included with this light would be sufficient for most houses, especially newer construction. It is a well-built fixture. The seedy glass is a really nice touch. The design would work with a variety of house styles. My house is tiny, and the version 1800BK is just right for my front porch (9.5"L). If you have a regular-size or large house, you might want to choose one of the larger sizes in this style. There are several other sizes, up to 15.25"L. It is not dark sky compliant as designed, but you can add a special fitting that will make it so.

We ordered 3 of these fixtures - two for the front door and one for the back door. They are well made and a classic design. They look simple and not overly ornate. They look good on our New England Bungalow house. We tried two different bulbs - first we tried a CFL but decided to change to a LED because you can see the bulb through the glass. We love them.
These fixtures are beautiful. They arrived well packaged, undamaged and in a timely manner. They will be installed in a few days and I can't wait . The body and back plate of the light are heavy and solid. This product was appropriately priced for what you get. I was hoping for a bargain but I will settle for quality.
