I had installed some very tall, high cabinets in my laundry room a number of years ago, intentionally making the trade-off, to lose light over more cabinet space, since the doors of the new cabinet from that Swedish big box store were now just under two inches from the ceiling. When I installed the cabinets, I had to remove the hanging light fixture, and just put a flat cover plate over the ceiling box, so that I could open the cabinets. (First pic)At only about an inch thick, this light was perfect, and mounts easily, and so now I have light above my washer and dryer again, and I can still open the cabinets.I didn't want a "spotlight" type of light fixture, just a wide light pattern, in something less than 2" thick, and for all those reasons, this was perfect, especially with the selectable color temperature feature.

This was a bargain, installed in our small pantry on the 4000k setting 7.5-inch round and WOW it really works so much better than our incandescent bulb, looks very professional and A SUPER EASY INSTALL.Will buy these again as needed.

I have four of these economical LED lights installed in various places throughout our home (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, hallway) and they work splendidly. These lights can be adjusted during installation to one of three settings: warm, daylight, or bright white. Their light weight makes them very easy to install and their covers are tightly fixed so there is no dust or dead insect accumulation to deal with for ceiling mounted installations. They look great and stay that way. I highly recommend these light fixtures.

This was such a great purchase! My electric bill went down. I am switching to all LED lights and my electric bill keeps dropping. In a couple of years, the lights will pay for themselves. It also is nice that the light is brighter than the old one, not to mention more attractive (modern). The light is also a perfect size and easy to install (mounting was quick and easy). You also have some adjustability on the light setting as well. I highly recommend switching lights to LED. Good for the environment and good for your wallet!
