Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve had them before and they are great.

Using on back deck. Illuminates the backyard well. Now easy to find black lab.

Bought 27 of these to replace 150W incandescent bulbs in lighting fixtures for a yoga studio. First, all 27 worked. The color (2700K / warm white) is a nice replacement for the incandescent bulbs (good color) and they are a bit brighter than the bulbs they are replacing. With the right dimmer, they dim right down - not quite to the warm glow of the incandescent bulbs but close enough. And, having been up and down the ladder 81 times (3x per fixture) I am crossing my fingers that these are as reliable as other LEDs I've purchased - so I don't have to replace them quite as often as the incandescent bulbs.Update: It's been closing in on 8 months with these bulbs. The cost / energy savings have been great ($200 / month or more) but I'm a little nervous in that we've had two failures (out of 27 bulbs). Not a deal-breaker by any means but was expecting higher reliability as compared to incandescent. I did order some spares (to be sure we get color / brightness / dimming match for any replacements) and fingers crossed the failure rate remains low.

I really like these bulbs. They are nice and bright and illuminate like incandescent bulbs, so light up fixtures well. All of mine are in pendant lamps, though, and therefore face down. After varying periods of time, they have started flickering and one by one have been failing. The internal mastic is not strong enough to support the weight of the bulb over time and it starts hanging by the tiny wires inside that eventually fail. I have tried putting some ca glue around the seam to see if that will work, but won’t know for some time. The manufacturer is completely unresponsive and has not returned Amazon messages, emails, or phone calls. It would be an easy fix at the factory to make these really great bulbs, but I have little hope for that.

I needed replacement bulbs for a Lamp which is plugged into a "Dimmer" that puts out 3 Levels of Output as I Touch metal on the Lamp. These bulbs work fine.Other "Dimmable" bulbs I tried recently hummed as the highest light output.

These bulbs are quite expensive, compared to the incandescent equivalent. I am using these because 150 watt incandescent bulbs are no longer available. Hopefully they will last as long as 'suggested' and if they do, they'll be worth it. The brightness and warmth are good and they are dimmable. This is the second time that I've ordered these bulbs. While they are very good on dimmability and brightness, their life was quite disappointing. I had purchased 2 bulbs and the first one 'burned-out' after only 8 months of usage. That's not even as good as I was getting from my previous incandescent bulbs.

We formerly purchased four Great Eagle 23W LED bulbs, but found they delay before coming on. Some other 23W bulbs apparently have the same shortcoming, but an Amazon reviewer of these Luxrites indicated they are truly instant-on. He's correct, as we found out from use. So, at last we have a bulb that acts like an incandescent bulb, not a fluorescent. Too, it is offered in several color temperatures, the 2700K being just what were wanted for inside the house.
