While, I have enjoyed some of the videos captured on my Ring doorbell of people tripping going up my stairs at night, there has always been the worry of a potential lawsuit, dropped food delivery, and broken packages delivered from Amazon late in the evening. These lights work great to light up stairs and I could see them for many other applications where you need a nice warm “flush” light at an affordable price.They have about a half inch profile extruding from the surface that they are mounted on, but do not interfere with steps as I have seen with other lights. They fit well in a typical single gang box, I used remodel boxes on my stairs and the bracket and clips on the actual light keep these lights in place.
