This is an inexpensive and attractive light post fixture. It was an easy install and doesn't take much time at all, assuming your post is of typical height and you don't need a cherry-picker to reach the old fixture! It appears to be sufficiently well made to hold up for many years. I have no qualms about recommending it.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these fixtures. A real metal body of decent heft and true glass panels was not what I was expecting. Installed very easily (all needed hardware was included) and a perfect fit on the old wall top mounting bases.I was planning on replacing two other sconces on my border wall “but” will be ordering another pair of these now as I am so pleased with the quality and appearance.FYI these are a little smaller than what I had originally but this is no issue to me. I think they are an excellent value for the price.

I bought this Lamp to replace a very old, out-dated one I had on a pole near my driveway. I measured first so I knew this lamp was smaller than what I had width-wise, but height-wise it was the same as my current lamp. The price was right, so I thought I'd give it a go. I had an electrician install it for me and he had no problems. He also installed a new photocell light for me so the lamp turns on and off automatically. The lamp is definitely small, but it does NOT look bad at all. Considering what I had there previously, it looks much better. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this item!

Our house had this identical lamp post fixture on it when we bought it 6 years ago. It stopped working about 2 years ago. The inside short circuited due to rain water easily getting in. I probably could have taken it apart and tried to repaired it. however, it also didn't hold up to the weather well and looked terrible.This 100% identical unit on Amazon was also the cheapest replacement option. Product works exactly as described and is simple to install.I'm giving it four stars because I know it's going to break in a couple years again and fade with the sun to a dull grey. You get what you pay for, and in this case I'm okay with that.

Well, I read all of the comments concerning this lamppost light and, although a number of comments stated the lamppost light is small, I decided to purchase it anyway and installed yesterday. Well, the comments are correct. It doesn't hit you right away but, after looking at it since yesterday, I must admit that it is smaller than I expected. I have looked at the lampost a number of times since yesterday, daytime, nighttime, etc., and this morning I looked at it again, and yes, it is unquestionably smaller than I would have liked. Still, a very nice light and well made but I don't think it is going to get bigger with age!!! You look at it and think, "there is something wrong here but I can't put my finger on it".....and finally, you realize that it's a tad too small. I'll just have to get used to it...maybe not....
