I like the overall vintage look of them. They are built well with a switch on the bulb housing and an adjustable dimmer on the cord. The cord is very long so I’m very satisfied with them.

The dimmer switch burned out the first time I used it. I had to bypass the switch to make it work, and replace the switchless socket with one with a switch. Edited: The seller very nicely has offered to replace my lamp. Thank you!

The part is nice. I like the wire, that's perfect for the vintage feel of the lamp I'm making. I do wish the part that screws in on top of the bulb socket was metal but that's not really a big deal.Here's why I only gave it 4 stars:Do NOT get this if you have to thread the wire through a fixture, as the wire has been soldered to the socket. The terminals are inconveniently small for un-soldering so I clipped the wire andwill get a new socket...with set screws.
