Bought these solar deck lights to replace the crummy ones I ordered from a different seller. I purchased these in July 2024 and was skeptical about their life span since the previous ones died out with in 6 months. The cost of the two sets I bought was a fair price. As of today they are all still working and still bright. The picture I put up was taken at midnight yesterday, but these go well into the early morning hours. Plenty of times I have come out on the deck about 4-5am to let the dogs out and they are still going. As long as they get plenty of sun during the day they go all night. If the day is cloudy they usually last till about 1-2am which is expected with the limited exposure to the sun. Easy to install with the hardware provided and over all I am very happy with these solar lights. I will buy another set from this seller for the deck on the new house we are building currently.

PRO: Largest Solar Cell panel of all I could find. This helps charge faster and/or in lesser lightPRO: Largest battery of all I could find. Will illuminate longer - IFF it gets fully charged by solar cellPRO: Bright enough for brown environment when fully charged in direct sun.NOTE: Full sun pictures are pre-charge direct sun facing - importantly - before installation. The installation is entrance landing, steps down to lower floor, to landing, to deck. This side of the house gets minimal full sun and the steps down are to the North further minimizing sun.CON: Not bright enough to be useful when installed on the shaded steps - even after a full non overcast day.3 of the 4 pictures have a mix of just installed (so fully charged in sun) and yesterdays (so full day of shade).Note the camera adapts some - so the steps look brighter than they were. But it is a good example of how bright the lights are IFF they can get a good charge. I was hopeful.Note in particular the single light picture. That is a shaded side single light an hour or two after dark. Note you can just barely the light itself. This is the same light that is in lower right of the full landing picture included - with some camera adaptation to light you can barely see the shade-charged ones and in particular how that one doesn't illuminate anything.Summary: These are great but ONLY IF you can install them so they get full sun. Not shade. Absolutely full sun for a good part of the day. In particular don't use for safety/steps unless you can do that.I did think these were the best I could find that weren't wired.Recommendation if shaded install (including say steps facing away or shallower angle) is to go straight to a wired installation.

On quarantine we have had a lot of time to get our garden in order, and have been experimenting with various solar lights. I am a designer, and very particular about lighting. Theses ones are by far our most favorite, they are a very warm white (probably 2700K) not too bright, and cast a beautiful soft glow wherever you mount them. We started on our fence posts, which looks so handsome, and have since found many other locations that look great on (like our brick wall, back steps, etc...), they don't seem to need too much sunshine to get a decent charge that lasts several hours, and the areas that don't get enough sun we just slip the fixture on (use finishing nails instead of screws) and charge them in a sunnier location and slip them back on. My only complaint is the company has a hard time to keep them in stock, we've ordered five sets now, and want a couple more! Forgot to mention, they are really affordable too!

Bought in 2022. Stopped working in 2026. Filled with water. Was beautiful while it lasted.

We bought these lights for our backyard fence and weren't going to review them until we knew how long they'd last. 5 years later, we have started to replace a few of them. 5 years! They are brighter than we thought they'd be and stay on for at least 6 hours after the sun goes down. We definitely got our money's worth out of them. Recommended.

We bought several packs of these solar lights to place along the top of our block wall in the backyard so that we and the dogs had some light at night. They stand up to wind really well - we've had them about a year and a half and only one or two have ever been blown off the wall. They do yellow over time and get dimmer. We purchased some rechargeable batteries for them, but they still aren't quite as bright and clear as they were initially. I would still highly recommend them because they are great quality and they look really nice.

I was impressed by their ease of installation, as they require no wiring and automatically turn on and off with the help of built-in sensors. The soft, ambient glow they emit creates a warm and inviting atmosphere while also enhancing safety and visibility in the dark. With their durability and weather-resistant features, these lights prove to be reliable and long-lasting. Whether for aesthetics or practicality, Solar Deck Lights are an excellent investment for those seeking a cost-effective and sustainable lighting solution for their outdoor areas.

I purchased a set of 6 as a a gift for my fiance, we loved them so much I immediately purchased another set. Sadly one light from the first set only lasted a week or so. I emailed to company and got an immediate reply. I was hoping they could send me a replacement because we really wanted the full 12. They actually gave me a couple options but in the end the credited me enough back to purchase their new 2-pack! All the other lights have been working great. I took the advice of some others and purchased the indoor/outdoor double stick Gorilla tape because we wanted to put them on some spots where screwing in wasn't ideal. The tape has worked great. The lights (and tape) even survived a major storm that knocked out our power for several days! The lights are quite beautiful. I love the cycling colors but my fiance likes the solid white (the cycling colors can get a bit dark at time, what we ended up doing is having alternating lights stay on solid white, while the other cycle. It gives us the beautiful colors while the white light provide some steady light.
