Beach Umbrella Anchor

I was very happy with this (and pleasantly surprised). Very heavy duty. My beach umbrella was quite secure in this base.

Great umbrella holder. Love that it spirals into the ground for sturdiness! Holds pool equipment umbrella like a champ, even in the wind!

I use these umbrella stands around my pond, they hold the umbrellas up perfect. Never had any issues, especially when we’ve had a strong wind.

Good anchor stand. Used for a troop flag and patrol flags displayed by a scout troop. Narrow screw for harder soil. They are not too heavy and do a good job.

Works ok, can easily get warped or bent if you hit rock or anything. The spiral fins are poorly welded on… tack welding or something?? Not great

I bought this because I live in New Hampshire, and we have very rocky soil. It's difficult to keep our bird feeder pole in the ground, especially during the spring when it rains a lot. This was designed to be an umbrella stand, but works like a charm to drill down in difficult soil, and holds firm so our bird feeder pole actually stays in the ground! Great value for the money!

I'd give it 5 stars, but there's a couple hangup points I'll explain that I'm not sure won't be problems later on. But 1st- I'm using this to hold a pole and a purple martin house. The concept of an auger I can install and remove at ease is a great feature, it's easy to install using the additional arm that helps twist the auger in place, the material looks solid and the 3 bolt system make adjustment for leveling the pole a cinch. But, if you come across any hard ground or rocks you're just gonna be stopped and using the little bar is just gonna bend itself or the auger body. After the 1st rain the "cup" of the auger filled with water and it took several days before it dried out. *Rust issue!! There's a hole in the base which seems useful for water drainage but in compact clay/soil like we have here in NC, I'm not sure it can drain.

I absolutely love this. I have tried to find something strong that would hold my poles for my swimming pool tarps and this is perfect. It goes deep into the ground. It’s very strong and sturdy and it can handle. The Arizona winds I couldn’t believe it kinda almost makes me want to buy more and just hang onto them in case the company goes out of business. But these are great. Anyone can install them into the ground and then you have the little pole that you can just easily twist it into the ground and Arizona ground is all rock so it was easy for me to install it and like I said my poles or the pole was very stable. The tarp just stayed in place. It is definitely well worth your money. I would highly recommend this only one thing I wish they came with a special bag so that you can put them into store when you have to take them down because if I’m moving, I’m taking these suckers with me.
