We bought these just after a storm knocked out our electricity. I almost can’t wait for the next power outage. Almost. I like the brightness. The clamp is good too. You can position the light in just about any direction you want.

I got this to use in my 9 x 12 garden shed. It lights up the whole inside nicely. The only complaint is that the clamp is way too tight for me to open far enough to clamp it to a 2 x 4 above. I have fairly strong hands for a woman but could not open the clamps very wide at all. I am disappointed with that. However, I have decided to keep it and install a hook on the 2 x 4 and hang it that way.

These lights are very bright and the clip is super strong (magnets not so much). Got it primarily to put on the tractor bucket when we are sanding our icy road in the evening. The magnets aren't strong enough to reliably hold the light to the bucket, but the clip opens very wide and is super strong, and the rotating light makes it perfect for the job. Also great for working under a sink, you can direct the light where you want without blinding yourself. Highly recommend.

We take our kids to the school bus stop while it’s still dark out. Since the stop is too far away for my littlest, we go in our wagon. I was looking for something that could function as a headlight to light our way and make us more visible to cars. I wanted something that I could clip onto the wagon, which required a strong and large clip. I was super pleased that this was large enough to fit over the wagon frame and strong enough that my kids haven’t pulled it off. The light is plenty bright to illuminate a decent swath of street ahead of us, and the rotating head allows us to point it downward enough that we aren’t shining it in drivers’ eyes.I haven’t tested the magnet strength very much, but it seems to stay where I put it.If you are doing long projects with it, you will probably appreciate that there is no auto-off feature, but it does mean you have to remember to turn it off or it will stay on till the battery runs down. Probably about 24 hours. Fortunately it’s easy to recharge, though it takes a while to get it back to full.

I like the clamp and the way you can swivel and tilt the lamp. Not a fan of the magnet...It's easy to knock off. I believe when I bought it, the description said it was a USB-C...It's a USB-B. Not a big deal. It charges fine, but you have to look straight on through the holes to see the leds to know its connected for a charge. Battery life is pretty good...I keep forgetting and leaving it on. It does dim some below half charge. I haven't really dropped it more than a few feet, but I'm sure I will (see magnet comment). So far it keeps working. As far a brightness I'm using it as a task light, I'm not trying to light my shop; fine as a task light. Keep looking if you are trying to light a shop. The trade off for a task light is the size of the head vs the amount of light it puts out. I might still look for a smaller light to supplement this one. I don't like overly bright Led lights because of the sharp shadows leds make. This one is ok that way. I have other lights in my save and compare list, but if I need another one I think I'll buy another one of these. Jim
