After using one of these lights for about a year and gradually buying a few more as I could, I feel like I can give a solid, honest review.I originally tried a different solar light that claimed to be as bright as a streetlight, but after comparing the two, I actually prefer these. The detached solar panel is a huge advantage—it lets you mount the light under an overhang or even in a tree where sunlight is limited, while still getting a good charge.We use ours on the 0% dim setting that switches to full brightness when motion is detected. That’s something the other light didn’t offer, and it made a big difference. The other one would constantly get triggered by bugs and be turning bright and dim all night. These don’t have that issue—they only come on when they detect a person or animal, and we haven’t had problems with false triggers.Installation is super easy, and I like that they’re simple to move around if needed. The brightness is good, though I will say the only advantage the other light had was slightly wider coverage. It was brighter, but it wasn’t as well built and didn’t have nearly as many useful features.One feature I didn’t realize I needed until I tried the other light is adjustable run time. That one only stayed on for about 20 seconds, which was frustrating (especially when my dog in the middle of doing his business and we were both left in the dark with me waving my arms around trying to get it to turn back on !). With these, you can set how long the light stays on, which is really convenient.I also like that you can adjust the motion sensor angle and reposition the side lights to aim where you need them.Overall, even though the other light was a bit brighter, I would much rather use two of these to get the same coverage. They’re more reliable, better designed, have more features, and are more affordable too.

I just got this so I can't speak to durability but so far, so good. I used siding hooks to install both the light and the solar panel so I didn't have to drill holes in my siding. I like that the side lights are adjustable up and down and side to side, while the center light is adjustable up and down. Not all of them are and I had to return a different one because it lit up the house across the street and I couldn't adjust it down like this one.I also like that the sensor is adjustable in all four directions. As to the light itself, I have mine set on the medium setting and it's plenty bright in my driveway and yard.I'd buy another one of these if I needed one. I hope it holds up through the winters. I'll update if any problems develop.

These are the best solar flood lights I have tried yet. I dont think the sensor captures the distance that they claim but it does work from a single story house gutter height to about 15 ft away. They are brighter than most.I would buy these again.
