I love these lights I'll order them until they run out.. as far as a remote control I don't believe I received that with my order I control it with my phone... I have them on an automatic timer with the setting that I want .,..if I wanna change I do it on my phone and it changes it... I live in South Florida it's very hot and rainy here these things last.. and you can change them on your phone from two blocks away if you wanted to... goes with music and stuff like that but I just have them on Auto timer they go on I've never investigated the music part of it.. what are the best purchases I've ever made in lighting

I like these devices. They’re very resistant to outdoor use, offer a good range of color options, and are bright. However, I don’t like that they turn on automatically when the power goes out and that the Bluetooth range is limited. The app is also not the best.

I’ve purchased upwards of 12 of these lights all made by ILC Tech over the years, which means there’s been three different stand alone apps needed to control them. Many of them have burnt out but many others continue to work well! Having recently acquired some of their newest lights that use the BRMesh app, I was over having to use different apps all the time. I reached out to customer service, they asked how many of each light I had, and sent me 8 brand new BRMesh lights to replace the ones that required older apps, free of charge. While it’s a bit wasteful with all the older hardware, I don’t know of any American company that would just replace your inventory if their products for free and so quickly.These lights, while not without their limitations, are very bright work horses. The app leaves a lot to be desired but it’s functional. 5 starts for customer service!

I’m using these to add some ambience to our front yard Halloween decorating. They’re perfect for our needs. I can see us using these for parties and Christmas as well. They connect instantly once you install the app. No need to search or pair. I downloaded the app, plugged the lights into an extension cord, turned them on and within seconds they were recognized by the app. The app can be better, but it’s pretty good as is and gives you lots of control. You can control the lights individually. I also run the lights on a timer. They keep memory so they turn on to the last given setting. All in all they’ve been trouble-free.If I had to say something negative, I do wish I had bought slightly brighter lights. Some colors aren’t very bright (true blue, purple, etc may need a little more power depending in your use). That said, they’re still plenty bright. Also note that these are flood lights, not spot lights, so they will spread the light. I had to strategically place them so they hit the right areas while not disturbing neighbors.I’ve had them running about 2 weeks now, right on the ground with no problems. They were poured on a couple nights ago, really heavy rain and still good. I highly recommend these.

When I originally bought these lights they were (& still are) used to light up the sides of my house where all my dome lights didn’t touch for holiday decorating. I had ZERO issue with either light throughout almost all of this years holidays. I go to set up all my decors for Halloween & was planning on using the lights to light up my “Witching Tree”, unfortunately the light wouldn’t work. It just wouldn’t come on no matter what I did. I reached out to the seller & literally in just DAYS they sent me 2 new lights even though it was only 1 light that wasn’t working!!! I was floored & felt thoroughly appreciated as a customer & I’m an grateful at their professionalism, kindness, understanding, & their immediate fix to the problem!!! I will definitely continue to buy from the company & the products they make!!!

So far, these things are amazing! We have six other lights we’ve purchased in the past years that are not Bluetooth and you have to use a remote to change the color. We put lights all over our yard for Halloween and here’s what’s involved: stand right in front of light 1 to set color, move to light 2 and hope it doesn’t also change light 1 because they’re close. Then move to light 3, etc. Wife decides she doesn’t like that shade of blue on light 2 so go back and change color while wife stands at the curb to approve. And so in... NOT WITH THESE!!! These lights make it a snap, and fun!! Place all lights. Wife stands at curb and opens app, then uses the color scroll wheel to set each light to her desire. Lots more color options. Easy to design the entire lighting scheme in a couple of minutes. And fun!!! We will definitely buy more of these and as the old lights die we’ll be replacing with these. I’ve had zero problems with syncing, app use, etc. was a little worried because the app reviews weren’t stellar, but so far five stars from me. Just hoping these last as long as the other lights have without issue.
