THIS is what my son wanted for Christmas - he mentioned that he wanted a night light at his front door when he came in that was like the turtle in our home. SO - I found him this - he loves it. I don't believe he has shut it off since he got it plugged in.

My daughter had an antique lamp just like this one when she was younger , over the years it eventually broke with one of our moves . So once o saw this one it was a must to try . I gave it to her on her birthday and she was very very happy to get it !Nice quality for the price and the light is not bright just like the old one use to be

I've owned many of these and through the years and they were genuine stained glass and wrought iron. This item IS NOT STAINED GLASS nor is it wrought iron. More like a synthetic plastic meant to look and feel like glass and a cheaper metal material. Still cute but cheaply made and I'm sure it won't hold up like the ones I bought many years ago. Lastly, the price for such a cheaply made lamp is outrageous!!! If I decide to purchase more, I will definitely look elsewhere and be sure it's made of authentic stained glass and wrought iron. Buyer beware.
