These work great. They are so big, highly recommend you use them in a large spatial area, but you may make it work in a 10x10 room. My ex took them when we separated but I kept the remotes (was an accident not vindictive!) haha. He will have to turn them on and adjust them manually, luckily he is a tall person and will be able to reach the top of the poles.

The softboxes are great for both video and still photography. Lights are powerful enough in a controlled lighting environment. If the are a set up and forget it, then it is great. I have had them for a year now, and the plastic mount to connect to the light stand is soft and the tightener has moved through and no longer tightens properly. Can't replace the mount as it is one full piece. Looking for another solution. but still like the light. They might be decommissioned to stationary not travel lighting :)

One of the best lights Ive owned. Bright white which I love for white backdrop shots. This photo was only lit with these! Very easy to set up. Quick and functional for on the go travel! I would buy more for secondary lights! Very strong no fear of tipping over!

For the cost, these are the damn bomb! I love a good softbox and these are really nice. The adjustable light temps are a huge bonus. Highly recommend.

For the price, these lights work really well. Not sure how long they will hold up though because everything is plastic at the connection point where the light connects to the stand and seems a bit on the flimsy side. They are heavy and I see the light sagging at that connection point to the stand. I am already thinking of ways to reinforce it the day it breaks. After a recording session, I break everything down. I am concerned these lights may not last doing that. These will be my primary lights for my video channel that I will be starting soon.Just be aware that they are big. I am using them in a spare bedroom I have converted to my recording studio, and they take up a lot of room and throw a lot of light. I am actually thinking of purchasing another similar one that has a smaller diameter to more focus the light on me since I want my background to be darker. Or, I might try making some light blocking mods to the front.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Shirtal Softbox Photography Lighting Kit. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much, but this kit completely exceeded my expectations. Assembly was super straightforward – I had everything set up and ready to go in just minutes, no frustration or extra tools needed. The build quality is perfectly acceptable for a budget-friendly lighting setup, and it feels sturdy enough for regular use. The light output is soft, even, and exactly what I needed for my indoor photography projects. It’s been a great addition to my studio, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their lighting without breaking the bank.Great product, easy to work with, and offers solid performance at a very reasonable price point. I’m really happy with this purchase!

I just unboxed these and set them up. Easy to get them hooked up and they work great. They throw out a lot of light (see my photo). During my test I actually turned them down a bit with the remote. They pack up quickly for ease of transport. Love the color temperature range and adjustments.Did I mention that they're bright? :)One question I had that I figured out after a few minutes is how to fold up the light box. To open, you push inward on a large plastic ring until you hear a click. The light box opens like an umbrella. The instructions that come with the kit don't say how to reverse the process. I finally figure out you just push a little more and the shade unlocks and folds up. Simple!

These are great light boxes for the price. Lighting produced is very good. In the video I shared, there are no other lights on in the room.I do think these may need to be handled with care, as the quality on the stands is a little questionable. Lots of plastic knobs which may not stand the test of time with heavy use.It comes with 2 remotes, but you only need one. It will control both lights, but you need to be standing close to each one as you adjust settings with the remote. There are some odd settings on the remote too, which I don't see many people using, such as flickering or having the lights cycle through different temperatures. Oddly, once you turn these useless features on with the remote, there is no way to undo them on the remote. But rest assured, turning off the power button directly on the light and turning it back on will reset it.The honeycomb cover tends to eliminate so much light, that I don't see it being very useful... but perhaps someone with more photo/video experience than me has a better understanding for scenarios where these are needed.I am looking forward to using these to enhance my YouTube videos. I would definitely recommend them.
