Bought this for my classroom, I’m an art teacher and it has a chasing rainbow setting - it’s perfect! The students love it, too!! But the maintenance guy thinks it looks like someone is flipping him off from the side view LOL I don’t see it.

Great quality size is a bit smaller than I thought originally however, the look the lighting quality the calming effect are all A1. It lasts about a day and then you have to recharge.

This is a battery powered cordless rechargeable LED table lamp that offers multiple modes of ever changing colors that flow in both directions or can be used in solid color mode to offer lighting and a brightness of 3000K. It is dimmable using the included remote control. This is guaranteed to strike up conversations and draw attention to the really pretty color changing effects. The only negative I can say about this is the battery doesn't really last that long even though it takes overnight to charge.

I was most interested in this lamp because it’s rechargeable and seemed to have a long battery life. I was not disappointed, but it has so much more going for it than just those features.It took several hours to charge to full out of the box using the included USB cable. You can either use the button on the base or the remote to turn the lamp on/off and make your color selections. It can be set for warm white light or cool. It can also be set for one individual color such as red, blue, green, etc.. What sets it apart are the several modes which displays several colors at once moving up the spiral in a snaking motion, blinking slow, flashing and chasing motions. You can adjust the motion speed and brightness from the remote. You can also set a timer.After playing around with the different settings, I left it on all day and it lasted ten hours before the battery died. I used the highest brightness and chasing colors setting to test it. If I’d have reduced brightness and used only cool white light, it may have lasted longer. Although the light it provides is okay, it’s not enough to read by. In a situation where the power is out, it could still come in handy since some light is better than no light.Regardless, it’s a cool ambient light for any time of day or night and the spiral shape just adds to the cool factor. The only issue I had is the lamp charged for hours upon hours showing the red light. If I nudged the USB plug at the lamp, the light turned green indicating it was actually fully charged. This has happened with different charging sources so there must be an issue with the connection in the lamp itself. Apart from that small hiccup, it more than lives up to its claims.Update: Had a power failure last weekend. I tried this lamp. No go. It was fully charged, but lost its charge just sitting on a shelf for months. My other rechargeable lamps have also been sitting for months unused and they worked. As pretty as it is, it failed the most basic test so I'm dropping my rating to three stars.
