I got two of the Milk White Marble Glass pendants for above my kitchen island. I had them professionally installed. They are fully dimmable, and come with a list of dimmer switches that are known to be compatible. These lights are amazing! They remind me of the Murano glass in Italy. My installer said there wasn't anything difficult about hanging them, other than they're ceiling fixtures, but he had no problems at all. The Lutron dimmers we got are awesome and the lights have no problems going from the brightest to off smoothly. With the dimmable feature, I can have a nice ambient light in the evening, or nice clear bright light for making coffee in the morning. I felt that the price for what I got was a bargain! I just installed them, so I don't know about lifespan, but considering the only thing that is most likely to fail is the light bulb, which isn't a problem to replace. The versatility of having these beautiful pendants hanging over my island is going to be one of the things I like best about them.

The white swirl handcrafted glass is sharp looking. Adds a touch of elegance to our large kitchen island.The only negative issue are the cable/wires. The hot, neutral, and ground wires are not color coded. They all look identical making the install somewhat challenging.This set would be perfect if the cord was adjustable after installation so it may be moved up or down at will.If you're looking for a quality product at a reasonable price, the Viinew Mini White Swirl Art Glass Pendant Light set is an excellent choice.

Review of Viinew Mini Glass Pendant LightI absolutely love the finished installation of these lights. They look fantastic, clean, modern, and exactly what I was hoping for. Getting there, however… not so much. The end result is worth it, but installation requires patience, preparation, and a bit of problem-solving.Here are my suggestions for anyone considering these lights:1) The instructions are poor at best.Be prepared to rely on your own experience and common sense rather than the included directions.2) Straighten the cables before installation.Unpack the lights and temporarily hang them for a few days from a clothes bar (or something similar), with a weight attached to the end of each electrical cable to help straighten the curled wires. Not doing this will make it very difficult — if not impossible — to hang multiple lights evenly.I made a temporary hanging bracket and tied a large padlock to each cable (about the same weight as the glass globes). I also ran a hot hair dryer up and down the wires for about five minutes, a few times a day. This greatly helped straighten them and made installation much easier.3) Mark your wires immediately.The hot, neutral, and ground wires are not color-coded — they all look identical. They come with small sticky labels, but those can easily fall off while feeding the cables through the canopy and bracket.If you're shortening the wire (I removed about 15 inches), you’ll first have to strip off the outer plastic cover. I worked in 4-inch sections and marked the wires as I went until I reached the final length where I stripped them for splicing.4) Be careful stripping the outer plastic cover.Find a good method that allows you to remove the outer insulation without nicking or cutting the inner wires — especially if you’re shortening the cable by 6 inches or more.5) Use a quality wire stripper.When stripping the hot, neutral, and ground wires before connecting to the electrical box, a decent wire stripper is essential.6) Adjustability is limited.Based on the product description, I expected the lights to be easily adjustable up and down after installation. That was not my experience. You need to determine your exact length before installation (another reason to pre-straighten the cables). I needed all three lights to be the exact same length.The instructions suggest leaving 9 inches of cable tucked into the ceiling electrical box. If you can fit 9 inches of that stiff cable into your box, you must have a larger box than I’ve seen in my 60 years of doing electrical work. Minor adjustments are possible, but don’t expect to easily raise or lower the lights several inches after installation.7) Mounting bolts may need replacing.The bolts for attaching the hanging bracket and canopy may be too long or too short depending on your setup. Fortunately, replacements are inexpensive and easy to find at any hardware store.8) The set screws are tiny.The super-small clear plastic set screws that secure the cable to the canopy require a VERY small flathead screwdriver. They’re easy to drop and very hard to find — and there are no extras included.9) The strain relief clip is frustrating.The plastic strain relief clip that goes above the canopy inside the electrical box was a pain to install. I suspect it’s there as a safety backup in case the small set screw fails, preventing the light from sliding or falling. I installed it as recommended, but given how I secured mine, a lot would have to go wrong for the lights to move at all.10) Have an extra set of hands.I typically handle house projects on my own, but this is one job where a helper makes things much easier.Final thoughts.In the end, I’m very pleased with how the lights look. They’re beautiful once installed. Just know that achieving that finished result requires careful planning, patience, and some practical experience.If you’re comfortable with electrical work and willing to prepare ahead of time, the final result is definitely worth it.
