Get a dimmer switch. This thing is bright as the sun. Adjusts height easily and looks great.

I bought this for my daughter fir her kitchen since she is upgrading to modern. It was easy to install, her husband did it, and she has slanted ceilings. It looks great and I like the bright white light it gives off. No more eye strain trying to do things. I think it has good quality and feel.

Great light! What I really like is that, if you want to change the light intensity, you just need to pop out the cover and the switch is right there in front. No need to take unit off the ceiling like in some others.

Beautiful light. Put a dimmer switch on it and we really enjoy the different lighting that is available.

My husband and I just moved into our new home, and we had been looking everywhere for the right lamps. These are amazing! The brightness level is perfect, the design is simple and elegant, and the amount of energy they use is just right. Exactly what we wanted.Laura

The lamp part looks nice and is quite bright. I tried it first on the existing switch and it isn't so bright to need a dimmer tho, so didn't bother installing one. The base unit on the ceiling is kinda ugly with the 3 wire attachments and screw heads... I wish it was painted/powder coated white, to blend into the white ceiling. Two of the three wires adjust smoothly up or down, but the third wire contains the low voltage electrical down to the LED ring and is coated in plastic, like a bread twist tie. This was very difficult to adjust, to the point I was scared it might rip the coating and make the lamp short out. Got it down to about 12 inches.
