Very nice umbrella, the lights look sleek and the solar panel is low profile. The whole thing feels like good quality. Assembly and use is seamless. A small red switch controls the lights, and the brightness is great for night time.Not sure how long the panel/battery/lights will last, but I’ll update if anything changes.Overall Excellent price! I’d recommend.
Very great product, love the lighting, and the fabric is holding up very well. My only concern is with the solar panel which clouded over from sun exposure.
Good quality item. Have been using is from day one and it still opens and closes very well and the fabric did not fade the color being under the sun the whole time looks great and easy to install
We love this umbrella! It’s the second one we have purchased as the first one broke – the mechanical cranking system stopped working. That being said, the umbrella was about a year old and we ordered the same one again because we loved it so much. It has a little solar light feature so that when the umbrella is open, it has nice under light. It’s easy to open and the color is fantastic. Other than breaking once, I would say that the quality is excellent.
Bought a 7 1/2 ft solar lit umbrella from another company, and it was too small for our patio table set. Kept it for another area, and decided to order this 9 ft solar umbrella from this company so we could compare the quality and durability of the two products. This umbrella appears to have better quality material, the handle to open and close the umbrella works easily, and the solar lighting has an on/off switch. The biggest difference is in the solar light panels. These solar lights are solid strips of light, giving a better glow than the other umbrella that only has several little bulbs in each light strip. We think this is a good umbrella for the price!
Had a previous outdoor umbrella that finally bit the dust this past year. So, while I didn't locate the previous brand, this one is so close it could be a "sister"! Had my previous umbrella last 4 years, and this one seems a little sturdier, so I'm counting on it being around for the next 4 years or longer! Love the strip,LED solar lighting in it as well! It's a perfect size and with a good stand doesn't blow over in the wind!
This umbrella replaced a solar lighted one of same size and same brand that was purchased in the summer of 2019. The plastic tilt mechanism did break early on with that one in which I had to devise a clamp to hold it upright. The new one seems to be constructed the same way so now I am sure to always crank it down if we have winds of 10 mph or more to prevent damage. The old umbrella canvas did get weather beaten and torn but I take part of the blame for not storing inside during off season. The solar light system, which only had 3 individual lights per rib, never failed on the old one so I hope this one holds up too. The new design of strip lighting on each rib is a great improvement. It looks better and provides brighter, more even lighting which is not at all distracting. My rating would have been 5 stars but the new design of connecting the 2 poles together, which is threaded, is a disappointment. The old design had a simple push button which made it quick and easy to remove top half to get out of bad weather or store for the season. Still scratching my head on why they changed this. One feature I would like to see in the future is an electric eye near the solar panel so the lights would automatically come on at dusk. Right now it only has on on/off switch.
