Very unique looking lamp! The wires are colored coded to international not US standards so if you aren't familiar the blue wire goes to the US white and the orange goes to black (live). It is easy to install if you've installed fixtures before but the instructions are very poor (especially assembly of the fixture itself). I like that the light remembers the color temperature you set on the remote so if you turn it off at the switch it will stay that way when you turn it back on. It's a striking hanging fixture over my entry stairs. Some reviews say it is 'small', but the fixture IS 23" as advertised so before you buy, grab a measuring stretched to 23 inches and hold it over your space to make sure it will be a good size for you. It has an app (I'm not going to use) and a remote control which I only used to set the color temperature but probably won't be using much since this light is replacing a 'dumb' light and I'm fine using the switch. It was a little expensive but so unique I find it a good buy. (Note, in my picture the light is hanging ~22 inches from the ceiling, the cords are 16"). The quality of this is perfectly fine in my opinion; it probably won't last 100 years or anything but it doesn't look cheap either. PS - Save yourself headaches and grab a couple #8 1" machine screws (a whole pack was less than a dollar at the local hardware store). The tiny screws this comes with to attach the canopy to the bracket are hard to align if you have large fingers or don't have a magnetic screwdriver.

Took around 45 minutes to assemble and another 10 minutes or so to install. One of the 3 light sections had a defective connector fitting so it took some time to get them joined, the screw holes lined up and the retainer screws assembled. Had to slightly reshape the receptacle end on this defective light section. All doable but adds some extra time to what should have been maybe a 20 minute assembly process. Adjusting the height of the light is quick and easy. We have the gold tone version of the light and it is pretty nicely finished - just one minor flaw on the top of one of the light sections that is not noticeable as installed. The remote control provides lots of options but we just decided what light brightness / color we like, put the remote away and just use the wall switch to turn it off/on. The adjustments remain at the last setting so no need to screw around with the remote control unless you want to change adjustments. Overall, a favorable cost to utility ratio - i.e. we are satisfied with the overall value. I would not hesitate to recommend this light to anyone looking for a small (24” X 6”) decorative LED light fixture with a lot of adjustment flexibility. One thing you should know - at maximum brightness there is an audible / unacceptable BUZZZZZZZZ. If not for that I would rate if 5 stars.

When I first bought this light and went back later it showed up as black and not chrome so I cancelled and it did same thing so I left it.. It came in chrome as desired but not the right shape. I should of followed my mind and returned at that point but my son had it assembled before i made up my mind. This light is not of the quality of some of the other things I have ordered on Amazon. It is way smaller than I wanted and the light is very cheap compared to the one on fan in same room. You can see the light strip in squares when light where as the fan light looks like one light under the light cover. You can tell it is plastic where my fan also a lot of plastic it looks like metal. I will change it out when I find what I want in a store. The picture gives it more a 3d look than it really is. Looked funny if I hung it long as to flat with roof. Very disappointed all round with this purchase.
