While these street lamps look nice they are pretty much useless as a street lamp. I purchase two, one for each side of my driveway. They put out as much light as the night light I have in my bathroom. And the light only lasts for about 2 hours after the sun goes down. So when you really need the light, there is none. The intent was to shed enough light on the driveway for visitors to be able see well getting in and out of their cars at night. This is very disappointing. For those of you looking for a nice ornament for your backyard, in a location that doesn't need much lighting, then one of these may work. And if anyone out there knows how I can convert these lamps to take a higher powered light light bulb, please let me know. Otherwise I am stuck with a nice looking cast aluminum yard ornament.
