Bought one, liked it so much I bought a second. Flanking my deck. Simple set up. Add water, plug in and done. Love the sound of water and the light at night is very pretty. I've had LOTS of water features over the years, mostly resin. They tend to leak after a while so we shall see how these hold up.(Update May of 2025. These are a fail for me. I took them in after thoroughly cleaning and drying them and stored them for almost 6 months. But this is how they look today. Granted I at least got one additional season out of them but this year they look absolutely terrible. Maybe they are meant to be on a patio and not outside in the elements, in the Sun. But this is Ohio, not Florida heat so I'm not sure why these things didn't last but I would never recommend them to be outside unless you want to replace them every year. And at the price they are, that's kind of cost. Prohibitive.) (March 2026 update: about to set up. Stor d in the garage all winter to help with cracked due to the cold weather. As you can see the paint is jacked up. They will look a little better with water running on them but ......😫. If anyone reads this, just know, IMO they are not meant to be outside without cover.)

We are so pleased with this water feature. While I was impressed with the great packaging and easy setup, we both love the look and operation of this unit. Looking to enjoy for many years to come!

Beautiful and works very well. Rated 4 because the refill requirement is every 2 days, not weekly. Sound and light are just right.

I purchased this fountain (in green) intending to use it outside my front door in an alcove. It looks ok there, especially at night when the LED lights are on, but overall I wish I had picked a different one for several reasons, the biggest of which is the sound.A previous reviewer mentioned this (unfortunately I did not heed this warning) but the water sound is not very natural because it is amplified by the hollow ceramic of the fountain, making it sound a little like a toilet running rather than a burbling stream. I thought maybe turning the water flow down a bit might help this, but while the pump output can be adjusted, the adjustment doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I've turned it both ways and it seems to put out about the same water flow no matter how it is set. There is no on/off switch, you just have to unplug it, so I put it on a timer. When you turn it on, it splashes water out the front until the flow routes down the front of the fountain. For this reason, I do not see this being used indoors. The power cord is only 6 feet long. There is no outlet within 6 feet of where I wanted this, especially since I cannot run the cord across the alcove; it has to be routed around the edges to avoid a trip hazard. A sticker on the back of the power supply specifically states it needs to be plugged directly into a power outlet upright, not into an extension cord; not sure why but the power supply definitely gets pretty hot. The connector between the pump and the power supply is a 2 prong round connector that I have never seen before not having had a fountain or pond before this one. This initially prevented me from placing it where I intended. Reaching out to Alpine got me a terse reply that they don't sell an extension cord, they just use the cord that came with it (and considering other reviewers have commented about Alpine's good customer service, this was disappointing.) However, after some research I found an extension cord specifically designed for a water feature pump with an LED that connects between the pump and the power supply, and that has worked fine so far. It is available on Amazon, but of course is an additional purchase. The cutout to access the inside of the fountain where the pump goes is pretty small and I had trouble sticking my arm in there far enough to make sure the pump was sitting with the suction cups on the feet on the bottom. It also makes it difficult to see the water level.UPDATE: I ended up relegating this to my back patio where the listening audience is smaller and getting a different type of fountain for out front where I had it. Not that I wanted to spend extra but I was embarrassed by the sound that greeted front door guests.

My original review follows and a year later I feel the same way. I love this fountain! However the lights stopped working and the paint was beginning to chip and peel. On a whim, I contacted customer service with little hope of getting anything resolved. Much to my surprise, I got an almost immediate response asking for proof of purchase and a photo of the problem, along with the lot number. Once I had uploaded those, the customer service rep sent me an email saying that my fountain would be replaced, all I would have to pay was half the shipping charge. DEAL! In this day and age, that level of customer service is unheard of. Thank you Alpine Customer Service, and especially Jenny for going above and beyond to keep this customer happy. Here is the original review: I wanted a fountain for my front courtyard that wouldn’t collect leaves from the tree that shades it. The fountains at my local garden stores were so darn expensive, I did a little research on Amazon and was surprised to find this one at a very reasonable price. I wanted a pop of color, so chose red. I was a little concerned that it might be damaged in shipping because it’s big and somewhat heavy, but it arrived in absolutely perfect condition. It was very easy to assemble and fill, and it is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted for that small space. There is very little open space for leaves to land. The light enhances the bubbling effect at night. It is so nice to listen to when the window is open, but it is not loud. I love it!
