I purchased these about one year ago. They are very nicely made and 4 of them are working great. However, 2of them would work intermittently ; sometimes blinking on and off, then occasionally fully on,then off and now do not work at all.

These are better than I expected. They charge up on the shady side of my yard. The glass & lantern part are sturdy. The pipe is light. The illumination lasts all night & into the early AM.Follow up review. I was in the "Dollar Store" and examined their solar lights. It helped me appreciate the QUALITY of these. the batteries are good quality. But better yet, the light bulb is better than the cheapies. My home is so beautiful because of these lights. My wife and I ended up buying 3 sets. We love them.

Pleased with the quality and appearance of these lights. Made of real glass and base is metal. Sturdy. Well made.I waited a few months after purchase to post review. Bought in March, and it is now June. They work perfectly and I’m extremely pleased with this product.

These lights are well constructed and the shades are made of glass, not plastic. The 5 volt bulb is larger than usual and its output rivals typical low voltage electrical lights. The large solar panel on top provides a full night's charge if the previous day was sunny. Two years ago, I purchased similar sized lights from this company to mount all along my 60 feet of fence and they are still working like new. This company makes a quality product which is head and shoulders above the average cheap solar light. Do not hesitate to buy!

Outstanding lights! I bought two sets to replace twelve similar lights from Home Depot. The solar cells on the old set lasted only about 5 yrs in the tough southwestern desert sun. I got these because the fit perfectly in the old 1inch pipes that were already placed in the ground where I wanted them (easy install)….the new lights fit in the old pipes perfectly. These new lights are brighter, the glass looks nicer, and work great….i think they were even cheaper than the old HD lights. I couldn’t be happier. Brightness-great, Size-perfect, good value. Only time will tell if they hold up in this sun! I think i’m gonna buy another two backup sets!

The lights I received looked exactly like the ones I ordered. They are wonderful! They compete well with the older lights I have had around.Lights are very bright, the glass is quite heavy and thick. The metal top has plastic insides, but still is made sturdy. Easy to assemble, take top off, pull plastic tab, turn switch on, charge for a day, and let them go. They look beautiful lit up at night. They stay lit until atleast 5 am from 8-9 pm, so good battery life. Definitely worth the price for what you get. I look forward to have a good amount of time with these lights in my future!

I am very pleased with these solar lanterns. I'm using them to light the sidewalk from my driveway to the porch. The look great from the street, showing the lights. They do not shine in one's eyes when walking on the sidewalk because of the metallic cover that houses the solar panel.Besides attractive, what I like:- No wiring needed, place them anywhere you want them in soil.- Height is adjustable by simply planting them deeper in the soil.- Lights come on automatically at dark and go off at daylight, automatically.- The solar panel on the cap recharges the batter during sunlight.What I wish they had:- Ability to insert a battery backup OR a larger capacity rechargeable battery that would last when we have several days without sunshine (Yeah, it happens in the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania).What I don't like:- The battery compartment is difficult to impossible to open. I cannot open one of them. That will be a problem when the rechargeable battery wears out.Otherwise, it would be 5 stars.
