Very easy to set up and they work great! The last brand we used discontinued and I missed my smart bulbs so much, these are perfect! Definitely buying more - I only bought the 4 to start to make sure. We have two in the kitchen ceiling light, one in the stove light( we have it timed to turn on at 8pm and off at 6am and 20% dimmed) and one in the basement. I simply asked Alexa to make a routine. So easy!

I never knew just how handy a smart light bulb would be until the past four months when I got my first Alexa and smart light bulb! Truly BEST INVESTMENT! It is easy to install you just put it into the lamp and listen to the prompts! And you have so many ways to control and adjust it through Alexa or the app! I have it turn on as soon as I shut my morning alarm goes off automatically so that I’m forced to wake up LOL! Also perfect for my dog when we are running errands and it gets dark we can set the light to turn on at a certain time or just turn it on in the app and she can have a light while she plays with her toys and waits for us to get back!!

I bought one to try it out, and we love the ability to tell Alexa turn the light on/off. Our lamp is in a far corner of the room, so when we turn it off at night we try not to trip on furniture on the way out of the room. We don't have to do that anymore, and it's great! I'd like it to be a little brighter though, as the soft white of this bulb is a little too yellowish. I'll definitely use more of these light around the house now.

Took a bit of troubleshooting to get the light bulb connected to my Amazon account, but since I did, I have loved it and even purchased a second. Works well with my Alexa as well and can ask for it to be turned on/off and dimmed to a certain percent. The light is a nice, warm yellow.

I have added Alexa controlled lights and plugs to about 80% of my condo. My wife first thought I was crazy but the convenience and control has quickly made her a believer. The Amazon Basic Bulbs have made it even easier to automate lights. Just screw in the bulb and Alexa recognizes it and starts the connection. In the pictures shown with this review I added Amazon Bulbs to my ceiling fan in my guest room. If you have multiple bulbs I have learned you have to do it one bulb at a time but this also allows greater control. I named the bulbs in the guest room G1, G2, G3 and G4 and then I group them under Guest room. I can turn on one bulb simply by saying Alexa turn on G1 (etc for the rest) or I can turn them all on by saying Alexa turn on Guest. I can also control all the bulbs by using the Alexa app on my phone. So if I am away I can check if I left any lights on and turn them off (or on). The only issue I experience is if the power goes off and back on.... you have to wait a minute for everything to reset. However, I love the convenience and utilitarian value on being able to control everything. Just for your information... I control things most of the time with the Echo devices I have placed around the condo. That's another story, but I love them too.
