Just what I was looking for! Nothing bright but the ambiance is perfect! Definitely would buy again (if needed).

IF YOU DO NOT NOT HAVE A 11 FOOT UMBRELLA, MINE IS 9' YOU WILL HAVE WIRES HANING DOWN IN THE MIDDLE. THAT IS OK AND APPEARANCE IS NOT BAD BUT YOU MUST MAKE SURE YOU WIRE THE STRINGS CORRECTLY ON RIBS OF UMBRELLA. WHEN YOU OPEN THE PACKAGE THE INDIVIDUAL WIRES ARE NOT WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO EXPECT. YOU WILL HAVE 4 GROUPS WITH 2 WIRES TO A GROUP SO IF YOU DO NOT START CORRECTLY IT IS NOT GOING TO TURN OUT RIGHT. FURTHERMORE THERE ARE LITERALLY NO INSTURCTIONS.WITH REGARD TO THE REMOTE; IT IS NOT A VERY STRONG SIGNAL. STANDING 15 FEET AWAY AND SHOOTING THE REMOTE THROUGH A DOUBLE PANE GLASS DOOR, MAY OR MAY NOT TURN ON THE LIGHTS. AT THE TABLE THE REMOTE WORKS FINE. BATERRY IN REMOTE IS NEW. WHEN LIT, I ONLY USE STEADY, THE EFFECT IS JUST WHAT WAS EXPECTED AND IT GIVES A PLEASENT GLOW AT THE TABLE.

These lights gave my umbrella such a nicer look. I had a garden party and received so many compliments on them.. This was a great purchase!

These are fine if you only want accent lighting but they are too dim for any real lighting.Ended up returning them.

The copper wires on these are encased in a translucent flexible plastic coating which seems better than the ones with just bare copper wires. It also makes it easy to point the unidirectional LEDs (see photos) downward since the flat ribbon-like wire can be cinched to each umbrella rib, and all of the lights face the same way on each strand. Install was a little fussy but easy. So far so good. They are at least as bright as the built-in type and maybe even the same unit the umbrella manufacturers use. They are the perfect length for my 9' market umbrellas.
