I bought this lamp for my son’s nursery! I love it! The color matches perfectly and it was very easy to put together! The lamp is actually pretty heavy so I’m not worried about it falling over as he gets older!! It’s lights up the whole room very well when the sun goes down!

Great quality for the price. It was easy to assemble! It was a little intimidating when I first opened the box but had no issues putting it together. I like that the height is adjustable! The finish is just like the photo.

Great lamp! Easy annd quick to assemble. I purchased one that is height adjustable and it works perfectly but be aware that not all lamp options offered on the page are height adjustable, some are fixed height. Read the descriptions carefully. Also this lamp is not 3-way dimmable as described. For me I like it anyway.

Great basic floor lamp. I like that the height is adjustable; I'm short, but I can still reach the pull switch from a sitting position. The white drum-style shade directs light both downward (for tasks/reading) and upward (for room-brightening).I ordered the black lamp with white shade. The base and shaft are metal.It was easy to assemble; even though I didn't see instructions included in the package, it was pretty intuitive. [Hint: tighten down the socket first, and assemble the shaft of the lamp starting from the socket down to the base. Otherwise, the cord twists inside the tubular lamp shaft, making socket tightening difficult. But it was an easy assembly overall.] I was momentarily surprised that the shade also required assembly, but it wasn't difficult either and is sturdy once done.The base of my lamp did come with a tiny dent on the side, but it's minimal and is hardly noticeable on the black base. Certainly not enough to worry about.

I just received this lamp today and I like it and am keeping it - there are just a few things to keep in mind and why I deducted one star. Please note for the first pic: I did end up using the shade from my previous lamp because it's bigger and better quality but I bought this lamp knowing I would do that and was not interested in using the shade it came with.The pros:I like that it's simple and sleek and the gold color is a nice brushed finish without being too bright or shiny. Although it's simple, the pull chain and the little lever for adjusting the height give it a little extra detail. The ability to adjust the height was essential for me because my couch sits very low so the standard 63-65 inch lamp height is way too high for my space. It was very easy to put together and the pieces all screwed in nicely to each other and the seams look really tight so you can barely see them. The base has a nice weight to it so it won't tip over easily.The cons:The first thing con I noticed is that the lever for adjusting the height doesn't screw all the way in so not only does it stick out some but you can see the thread from the screw and that it's silver - see second pic. Kind of takes away from the sleekness of the rest of the lamp. I might try and get some of the screw cut off. Until then I will put some gold Rub and Buff on it so it will blend in better. Also when adjusting the height I tried a few different positions and I noticed when you tighten the little lever the screw leaves a mark on the neck of the base - see third pic. I was so perturbed by this but ended up twisting the neck to the back so you can't see it. Still very frustrating it already got damaged just by doing what it's designed to do - adjust the height. So be careful when playing around with different heights, just don't tighten the screw too tight at first until you figure out where you want it. Lastly, the cord comes out from the very bottom of the shaft and goes across the base a bit - see 4th pic. A lot of floor lamps have the cord snake through the base and then out from the bottom of the base so the cord can lay more flush with the ground and and be more obscured. This will probably annoy me forever but there's no solution change it.
