Love the appearance of the light. Contrary to one review, the brightness is adjustable. It's very bright when at the highest setting, but the at the lowest setting, not bright at all. HOWEVER - the remote control only works occasionally (and fairly rarely). I have not been able to determine and steps to make it work again. It just sometimes works, but usually doesn't. Don't like this at all, but falls short of being a show stopped. Not a too big deal to turn on/off with the switch.

I was looking for something other than traditional lamps but It took a while to get used to the light as I was so used to lamps with shades. I use these in a den so they are great for reading but the 3 lighting options seem appropriate for all circumstances.

This is a very pretty lamp. We wanted something to kind of make a modern statement and this was it. It can be very bright if you want it. Or go nice and dim. It’s simply beautiful and easily adjustable. We can not have one issue and we can’t seem to adjust it so it’s straight up and down. The top tilts a bit. I’m sure with more work we could get it the way it should be. I would defiantly recommend it .

After I unpacked the lamp, my daughter came into my room and said, "Mommy, your new lamp looks like art." Exactly the look I was going for. My room is decorated in modern art, so it fits right in. I like to read before I go to bed so I was worried about the brightness but I didn't need to be. The first setting is low, like a night light. The next two settings are certainly bright enough to read by and they illuminate the room as well as an overhead light. I'm very pleased with this purchase and my new piece of art.
