These are in my backyard by the two patios. They light up the whole yard. Very impressed. The contractor installed them while having the house remodeled so I am unsure about how easy to install. I have had them up for over a year and they work great.

Perfect solution for our patio and yard lights. They get very bright but when you dim them, they offer great atmosphere lighting. With no glass panes and the opaque plastic, they diffuse the light well and are easy to keep clean. Highly recommended.

I was impressed with these light fixtures. Over the years I’ve installed dozens of exterior lights and these are one of the best I’ve encountered.The backplate of the fixture is precision cast aluminum, which fits perfectly within the outside frame. The lens is a milky white plastic, also precision molded, it is attached to the backplate with ten screws that thread into the aluminum backplate, a silicone gasket sits between the lens flange and backplate creating a weathertight seal. The aluminum backplate serves as a large heatsink for the array of 120 LED chips that evenly illuminate the fixture.Five color temperatures are selectable via a weather sealed slider switch on the back of the fixture (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K). These cover the most common color temperatures and allow you to match the color of this light to that of your other fixtures.The fixture features a high-quality LED driver which delivers up to 1400 Lumens from only 15 watts of power and allows stepless dimming from 100% to 10%. I tested the lights connected to a digital dimmer, which provided the full range of dimming with no buzz or flicker. One of the nice things about LEDs when compared to incandescent lights is, LEDs don’t change color as they dim, whereas incandescent bulbs do, getting “warmer” as they dim. I personally prefer a more natural white light, so I appreciate this fixture offering a true “daylight” color balance as well as temperatures in the 3000K to 4000K range which are a good compromise over yellow 2700K lights.Mounting is simple, there is a small square metal plate that attaches to your electrical box, the fixture slides over this and is held in place by two screws. All the necessary hardware and connectors are provided with the lights.There seems to be a typo in the listing, as it says the lens is “clear tempered glass”. On the two fixtures I received the lens was a milky white plastic. Glass would be nice as it is resistant to UV and discoloration, however, at this price point, given the precision shape of the rectangular lens, I can see why a plastic material would have been used. Considering the high-quality of all the other components, I’m hopeful the plastic lens is resistant to UV and discoloration with age. Only time will tell.Bottom line: A well-engineered, precision fabricated exterior light fixture. At the time of my review, the set of two lights was priced around $110, which I consider a good value for lights of this quality.
