Very nice light but these are 100% not dimmable. If you put it in with a dimming switch like I did they flicker and are totally not compatible. When I purchase these I remember them saying they were dimmable. They no longer say that. Also the bases are square not round and they do not cover a round standard four and a half inch receptacle

This sconce is way better than expected. It is beautiful, heavy, and expensive looking. The gold color is very pretty tone. Sadly, I didn't notice that the backplate is narrow, and it won't cover the round junction box without a lot of retrofitting. I ordered two and the marble on both was the same, a very nice lighly pattern white. I really wanted to keep these, but sadly, have to return them.

The marble is nice, but lamp is not dimmable, and also the sconce attachment and mounting hardware isn't great for round j boxes.

I wanted to add some warm, sophisticated lighting to our staircase, and these sconces are stunning!!! The marble give off such a soft, beautiful glow, making the space feel incredibly cozy and inviting. Installation was a little tricky because of the weight of the fixtures, but it was worth the effort. The brass accents look so elegant against the marble. They really elevate the whole look of the hallway and provide just the right amount of light.
