You have to know how to work with it and when you know this product, most probably you will like it.

What to expect and what to do if you are not planning to use this switch to power multiple switches. It was tricky to understand the instructions at first but got it worked out. The wires for my lighting supplied 4 wires (red, black, white, and green). The first photo was the old switch’s connections. The second and third photos shows the connections from the new (3-way) switch. The fourth photo is how I had to make the connections for everything to work. Lastly, the fifth and sixth photos are the instructions that were provided with the new switch. Please note that you’ll cap off the blue wire if you’re not feeding multiple switches.Good luck!

Requires the neutral wire but works where the others don't.

This requires the neutral but works to dim a very load of LEDs. The dimming linearity is not superb but this is the first one that worked after trying 2 that claimed they worked witheout the neutral but neither worked at all. It was used to operate 6 puck lights that used to be 20W halogens. Total power now is around 12W down from 120W.

CAUTION: virtual three-way counterintuitive wiring required

Not a true 3-way — uses low-voltage sensing to emulate oneThis isn’t a traditional 3-way dimmer. It uses a low-voltage sensing circuit between the dimmer (blue wire) and the secondary switch to simulate 3-way functionality. The “traveler” isn’t switching 120 V; it just sends a signal to the dimmer’s internal logic board. That design has one benefit — only one traveler is needed — but it also creates a huge trap: if you wire it like a normal 3-way and energize the blue lead, the dimmer will short internally and fail instantly. The instructions never clearly state that one traveler must be capped off.Once understood, it works fine and looks great, but it should be marketed as an emulated 3-way logic dimmer, not a conventional one. It’s a gorgeous switch — probably the same reason you chose it — but it’s a frequently returned item. Frankly, it’s neglectful (borderline nefarious) that these critical details aren’t made explicit.I blew one out instantly when the blue wire saw 120 V because I treated it like a standard 3-way per the markings. ELEGRP would probably sell more of these if they were honest about the logic design and made the manual user-friendly.Most people will be dropping this into a pre-wired 3-way expecting “easy-peasy,” only to find a new twist: the blue wire is not a power leg. If it’s tied to a hot conductor (via the now-secondary runner you don’t need but might connect to common) and the remote switch flips, you’ll fry it.Good luck, and triple-check your connections before powering up.(Sketchy sidenote: understanding this means you could use this switch in a single-switch setup and create a secondary switch with low-voltage doorbell wire and a simple SPST or wire toggles to neutral, that’s your 3-way function — but you didn’t hear that from me 😏).

Does not work as a 3-way switch

[Size: Single Pole/3 Way, Color: White, Number of Items: 1]
While this product did not work for our needs as a 3-way switch, the company was very professional to work with, and refunded the switches that did not work.

Great features and functionality of these dimmer switches

[Size: Single Pole/3 Way, Color: Black, Number of Items: 6]
These are good quality dimmers. Adjust well with various bulb types. On/off and dimming mechanism operates smoothly. When switching off, the lights slowly dim down to completely off which is a nice touch. LEDs on dimmer bar stay dimly on while in the off position for easy recognition in dark spaces. Very pleased with function and quality.

Fantastic!!

[Size: Single Pole/3 Way, Color: White, Number of Items: 6]
I have installed a few different brands of dimmer switches. This is by the best. Easy install, works as advertised, nice clean look, very inexpensive and yet some quality in there too....who knew you could have both? If you want to pony up for Lutron...knock yourself out. My only question is ...Why?
