Bought specifically for the Edison bulb effect with the filaments showing. The color and the bulbs create the theme we were looking for in our steampunk decorated area. Love the dimmability and how it can create a mood with the bulbs.

These bulbs look really great. They are fairly bright, and are well constructed. They'll fit most E12 fixtures, as long as there is enough room for the bulb length/diameter.Be careful of the lighting use though - even though they are 40w, the rose coloration makes them suitable more for an accent light than a primary light (e.g. you don't want to use this for lighting a hallway, but as a light in a vintage looking artistic piece, they're perfect). Get the non-rose colored (clear) bulb for primary lighting. The light these put out is extremely warm, almost orange - think a 1930's kind of feel.

Funky lights, look cool, but honestly, it could be a bit brighter. I have other bulbs are the same wattage and they are significantly brighter.

The bulbs are small and perfect fit for my fixture. Product said amber but the light is very white as opposed to amber. I colored them with an orange Sharpie. Now it's a nice warm light. Product does say 2700k should be warm but with no amber coating on bulb itself it's more white. Pictures attached are one bulb as received and after my coloring

I am very impressed with these bulbs. Not only do they look very cool when dimmed, they also get pretty bright. The dimming transition is very smooth. I just hope they last a long time.
