12W A60 Smart Light Bulb with a 2.4GHz Remote Control

This is an affordable adjustable LED bulb kit. However they are not 100 watt equivalents. It looks more like 75 watts. I was looking at upgrading from a 60 watt equivalent to a 100 watt equivalent bulb. It's a little brighter than the 9 watt - 60 watt equivalent I already own. The bulbs are easy to set up and the remote can be set to control the 2 bulbs in different lamps.

I mean…the colors are alright if you’re wanting your area to be cozy. It’s not very bright even at the highest setting in my small office. Easy to install (just turn the light bulb) remote is self explanatory. I’m not too sure about the heat output…. I try not to make it a habit of getting close to anything hot but it was a little hot even just a few minutes on when I went to change the light bulb out for a regular one, so probably super hot if left on for a while. Quality of the lightbulb and remote themselves are ok. Overall I guess it just didn’t meet my specific needs in terms of brightness.

These go in some old wall sconces that have pull chains to turn on or off. I can leave the remote by the door and easily turn on or off without having to cross the room and snake around furniture to get to the pull chains anymore. Love the temperature and dimmer controls. The timer is an added perk - I can turn them on in the evening, set the timer for an hour and they’ll go off on their own.

I have a lamp with sentimental value that I wanted rewired to be able to use a 3-way bulb. The electrician said it would be cheaper and better to get a device like this.This product is great! I chose this product over the other ones because it gets as bright as 100 watt equivalent, which I like for reading (I saw only one other brand that did this). It uses a radio frequency remote rather than infrared, so no issues with something blocking the beam, like the lampshade. Using a plug-in appliance timer is no problem; the light will come back on at the same setting when the timer returns power to the lamp.
