This is exactly what we needed! We moved and have always had twinkle string lights, but this house didn’t have an outlet outside. This is the perfect solution until we get outlets installed, and it’s nice to have our string lights connected to a light switch now. No complaints!!

Went up super easy to replace my carriage-type 1980s/90s light that has probably been here since then. This light offers a bit of classy modernity. Well made, glass is in the frame well, and sleek design. It is a tad long, but that is the style. For proportion, it could have been about 4 inches shorter, but it doesn’t bother me. You can see in the picture how much longer it is compared to the lightbulb. You can get longer light bulbs that fit better, if you so wish. I’m using the dusk/ dawn bulbs so they turn off and on automatically. The plug works great, I currently have strings of Christmas lights plugged into it with no issues. Installation was a breeze, did it all by myself. Only issue was with existing set up with the siding and I had to McGyver the holding plate a bit. Great light so far!

Very happy with this light! The fixture arrived well packaged and with all hardware needed. Even had extra mounting screws in case I lost one while installing. The frame is on par with others I've purchased and the glass is well secured. The wiring was heavier gauge than I see in other fixtures and should support the amps required for the GFCI outlet. I really like that outlet too. It'll be great for adding a few strings of bistro lights without having to install a junction box and plug. Everything installed without issue and looks great.

We love the look of this light. Simple. Classic and goes with most decor.The unit was a straight forward install without any unexpected needs.A variety of lightbulbs with standard base are usable. Which makes this flexible to our needs -- just light or a special ambiance. There are so many types of bulbs and we can use a lot of them in this fixture.The outlets are a plus. Love that it is the wet type of receptacle that has the reset button for safety. Our only drawback is the closure of the lid. Would prefer that the cover could close down over the plugs.

My home does not have any exterior outlets on any side of it. I was trying to come up with a better way to wire Christmas lights this go-round since running an extension cord out of my screened in back porch is not ideal I was able to install this with no issues and now I can run a short extension cord on the underside of my porch to the edge of the roof where the Christmas lights will begin and I don't have to leave the extension cord hanging out the screen window all season!This product is solid, it feels sturdy and not cheap or flimsy when it's in place. You could use decorative film to really jazz the look of it up, if you were so inclined. I'd purchase another one, if I needed it.A note: it is HEAVY so if you are short and/or not a professional I would definitely recommend having a second set of hands to hold it up whist trying to screw in the side screws that hold it to the frame. I did cut my finger on the interior glass trying to hold it in place, but that's my fault for not having help when I should have waited.

Great quality, easy to install

Its a nice, solid, well made light. I wasn't sure what to expect exactly, but this is really nice. The light has the typical three wires in back, and it comes with a circle you have to use to mount it (a little screw on either side is what holds the whole fixture to the little circle base). Its nice and heavy, so be sure and mount it securely. They give you about 8 inches of wire to work with in the back, and plenty of room in the square base to tuck it all away.The outlet is on top, on the right hand side if you are facing the light, and it has a magnetic door that covers it if you aren't using it. With just a basic 60 watt bulb its twice as bright as my last light, so might want to go with a softer bulb type. All in all a very welcome addition to my porch. *Almost forgot about the cube lol. They've somehow bagged & stuffed a cube of styrofoam inside the glass (to protect it I suppose), but you'll have to tunnel through it and break it to bits to get it out since you can't squeeze it out.

I installed this on the wall above my new back porch. I often need a plug outside and though this would be perfect instead of wiring a new waterproof outlet. It works great! It looks wonderful with a long Eddison style led bulb. I got a light and an outlet for one low price.
