Works great exactly what I needed for the stairs. You can’t dim the lights all the way. Depends on how much of the strip you are using. If you try to dim to much and your using say 3/4 of the strip it will not light but 1/4 of the lights. Instructions aren’t the clearest. But after some trial and error was able to figure it out. Great lights!!

These might not be the fancy app/color changing crazy LEDs you can buy but these work surprisingly well. I do not do reviews unless I’m impressed. Here I am !!!

4 out of 5, wouldve been a 5 but the wires connecting to the unit were bad and had to do a direct connect. Overall if you add some trim and a plastic shielding unit this thing is well worth the money

Love this! It looks so cool!We had an issue with the daylight sensor and it was replaced quickly and we needed a longer wire to place the daylight sensor in an appropriate location. they gave me a link to buy it and responded to my email request very quickly. Very happy with the seller and product!

The Handrail Stair Lights by KOMIGAN, will add a beautiful appearance with helpful amount of light, drawing you back for a second look. But, with wires, sensors and control unit, here’s some things to consider before deciding.I. Quality – They feel well made out of good quality materials that should last a long time, assuming the electronics survive. I’d put them in the lower side of the upper tier on the quality scale for stairway lights.II. Installation – It can be a little surprising and daunting when you open the box to see everything to install. From five different types of wires to the strip lights and sensors, it looks like a lengthy job. However, while it will take a long time to install, it’s not as bad as it looks. It’s not very difficult, just a bit lengthy and the results are definitely worth the effort.III. Performance – The sensors and push buttons have worked great to provide such a beautiful and helpful effect every time I get to the stairs. The lights are bright enough to see where you’re going and haven’t had any issues like flickering or burnouts. The color (3000K warm white) in my case, is a brighter orange white and should be about what you’d expect.Overall, this is a great way to take any stair case to a whole new level of class and intrigue, just by adding a light kit. If you’re willing and able to accommodate the installation, and you think you’ll love it, you will. First, I want to mention that I received this product for evaluation. I planned to use the Motion Sensor with Daylight Sensor LED Stair Light Kit KMG-45 to provide better illumination for my stairs. I expect that it will be easy to set up, is well manufactured, and works well. This product fulfilled most of my expectations, and the quality is great.About this kit:Pros:- The light is very bright.- Includes two proximity sensors, one for the top and the other for the bottom of the stairs. The sensors can be placed recessed or on the surface with the included bases.- It includes two switches to function as a 3-way, but they are not essential, just using the sensors is OK for us.- The cables are color-coded, which facilitates installation. The number of cables is sufficient for various configurations.- It includes a light sensor so that the consideration of whether or not you want it to turn on during the day is included in the programming. This is optional and one can choose not to install it.-It has several modes of operation, so you have to keep the instructions as a future reference in case you want to change how it operates.- It features several alternatives of operating modes, including timing, light intensity, and ignition patterns.- It includes a controller, which allows you to change these options by assigning a code whose meaning is in the manual.Cons:- The kit includes a screwdriver, but it is very soft. So, a better one will be needed.- Requires time and a little programming knowledge.
