I’ll take full responsibility for this one, I didn’t read where it said the lampshade was plastic not glass. Lesson learned. Unfortunately because of how tight the styrofoam packaging was, I can’t return it as I had to rip the packaging apart just to open it. Oh well, I have a different room it’ll go in. The lamp itself is still good and very serviceable. It comes with its own bulb that casts a nice, soft yellow light, perfect for a desk or lighting up a smaller room. The charging ports are a nice bonus. Overall it came exactly as pictured in the ad. Just learn from me to read all the features before purchasing.

Great little lamp - BUT - the instructions fail to tell you that there is ALREADY A TINY SET SCREW screwed all the way into the top section where the lamp section goes into the "pipe". They fail to tell you this while simultaneously providing an extra set screw. Loosen or remove the set screw at the top of the pipe before you try to place the lamp into the hole at the top of the pipe.

I bought two and very good quality and sleek design. Love them so much I ended up using them both as lights on my night stand next to my bed bc I like using them so much. Was not even my intention when I bought them, but they are so perfect for night stand lamps as well.
