We installed these on a new construction home, and they immediately elevated the entire front elevation. I handle design decisions for a residential home development company, so I’m very particular about proportions, finishes, and how fixtures read from the street—and these absolutely delivered.The 18” height is ideal. Large enough to make a statement without overwhelming the facade, especially when flanking a front door. The clean, modern frame works well across multiple styles (we paired it with a more traditional exterior and it still felt current and intentional).Build quality is better than expected at this price point. The metal housing feels sturdy, the finish is a true matte black (not shiny or cheap-looking), and the glass panels are clear and well-fitted. Once installed, they look much more expensive than they are.Light output depends on your bulb choice, but we used a warm LED and it gives off a soft, welcoming glow without being harsh. Great for curb appeal.Installation was straightforward for our electrician with no surprises.Things to note:• Bulbs are visible, so choose something decorative (Edison-style works great)• Size is substantial—measure your space so you get the scale rightOverall, these are a fantastic value if you want a polished, designer look without paying designer prices. I would absolutely spec these again on future builds.
