The light is adjustable with the remote, at first I was not happy until I tried the remote. The 4 holes should be expanded to avoid the difficulties of trying to fit the 4 screws holding the light to the ceiling.

This is a beautiful light. It really elevates my bedroom. It is very bright when first turned on. That is the only thing I dont like about it. It doesn't remember the setting it was on when turned off, so when you turn it back on, it's bright like a runway. Other than that, its perfect! I saw reviews where the installation was difficult, but my husband had no issues installing it. It's heavy, so 2 people are really needed just to aid in holding it when putting it in place. Of course, he's an electrician and a jack of all trades, so for someone who doesn't have his experience, it may not be as easy. There were no parts missing, nothing was broken.
