I can’t speak for long term durability, but it arrived today and it took about 2 minutes to setup and my final impression is this product is engineered at a much higher price point. This is a good product. I did not download the app.

I love this light for filming and it comes in handy when I put my makeup on. So easy to use.

Really nice for the price. I use it to photograph blueprints. It is pretty flexible, and if I take my time, I can get good results. It would be good for anything you want to record at a prep table, work bench, etc.

I use this across three setups: work video calls, YouTube content creation, and as overhead lighting for my 3D printer bench. On all three fronts, the light itself delivers — brightness range is solid, color temperature options are genuinely useful, and the magnetic phone mount is a clever touch that works exactly as advertised.The one frustration holding this back from 5 stars: there's a persistent wiggle where the lamp rod slides into the desk clamp mount. Even with everything fully tightened down, it never feels truly locked. For desk lighting that's a minor annoyance, but if you're using it for video it's noticeable and frustrating. A tighter tolerance on that joint would make this a clear 5-star product.If you're primarily using it for lighting or photography stills, don't let that stop you. For video, go in with eyes open or consider another product.

It is a great light and I like the different levels of brightness that can be used. Holds my phone well. The clamp isn't always a great option for attaching it to different surfaces. The disk that is on the clamp screw, is sometimes to wide for desk and tables that don't have a wide enough edge.

This ring light works great, except for the pivot on the table mount. The plastic insert that the arm rotates inside of is too short and the hole is too big. This allows the arm to wobble in the mounting base. No matter how tight I tightened the screw for the pivot, it still wobbles. I wrapped some PTFE coated glass cloth tape around the arm to make it less wobbly, see my pic and video. The video is after I added the tape, without the tape it is much worse.If they made that plastic insert longer and the hole a little smaller, it would resolve this problem.This is very versatile and the magnet is plenty strong to hold even large phones. The ring rotates so you can use it to to take pics of things on the table surface too.
