It works as advertised, it creates a beautiful design on the ceiling while it’s lit. The cord is plenty long for however high the ceiling is, I had to tie it up some.The only bad thing is that it doesn’t seem to get bright enough even with a strong bulb. This isn’t a problem if you never need a very bright room but this is more of a decorative light than a functional one.

This light is a WOW. It makes a bold statement. I love that the gold is seen in the spaces of this light. It is a really great accent piece. Easy to install. The cord is super long just in case you have huge ceilings. I did put an Edison LED bulb in. Not sure what effect it would have with a standard bulb but I am sure it would be just as beautiful

I like this light. Works well with other light fixtures. I don’t see the star pattern on the ceiling when dark.

Bought 2 to decorate my themed Airbnb in the mountains in California where guests can enjoy playing records filled with vintage travel memorabilia. These lights illuminate the room beautifully, with patterns projected onto the walls. The shades are metal with a matte black finish, and gold color inside. Well constructed.I agree with some reviewers that they are not that bright coz the metal shade block some of the light, so if this is your only source of light in a big room, it may not be enough. In a smaller room and mounted high, it can help. My use is for ambience and illumination for the reading corner. So having 2 of them works well as the design and function.

Such a great fixture for a great price. Easy installation and got a color changing bulb to really set the vibe. Highly recommend.

It's gorgeous! We're doing a remodel and I was going to put it in the master bathroom but last second decided to have my contractor put it above the sink. It looks magical but not cheesy. One of my favorite things that we bought for our full home remodel. I would buy another one to put it somewhere else if I could get away with it.

Easy to install and light weight.Disappointed that the fixture hangs from a flimsy wire. I slide the wire in black metal extensions I had extra from a previous fixture. Looks much nicer and sturdier. I installed the fixture on my front porch . Yes it says it's a indoor light .My porch is well protected from the weather. I originally put a white bulb in the fixture and didn't get any of the gorgeous shadows on my ceiling. So I tried the blue light as you can see the ceiling is gorgeous. However I'm not fond of the blue light. I'm ordering a few different other colors to see how it works out. Flickering flame , soft yellow and green . My neighbors absolutely love the lighting 😁
