This wall sconce is genuinely beautiful in person—modern, sleek, and it feels heavy and well-made. I bought it as a replacement fixture and it does look high-end once it’s up and powered on.One important thing to know: this is hardwired, not plug-in. It needs an existing electrical box/wiring in the wall, so it’s not something you can just “place anywhere.” Installation also wasn’t as simple as I expected—the instructions weren’t very clear, and I ended up having my husband help with the wire connections.It worked well and the light output looked good, but after seeing it installed, I realized the size/shape didn’t suit the exact spot I bought it for, so I put my old fixture back and will use this in a different location. If you measure your space, plan for a hardwired install, and the style matches your room, it’s a great-looking fixture.

As other reviewers have noted this light is a mixed bag. I think it actually looks decent in person but there are some puzzling aspects to how it is constructed.First, the glass diffuser sits on the lamp with only gravity rather than any friction or threading to hold it in place. So you would thread in your bulb and then set the glass over the top. And it does have a lip to keep it from falling over but it just isn’t secure like you would expect. That makes it seem like a flimsy design.Then there is a puzzling threaded “post” on the lower part that sits against the wall (see pic). You would think this post was meant to attach to some kind of wall hardware and that would keep the lamp from moving as much. But no, this piece just sits against the wall with no hardware. So again, an unusually flimsy design element.Then the metal bit that hangs at the end is a bit loose and held on with a screw. It serves no function but if you touch it the piece rattles and moves around. Again, not so solidly put together.Then the wires are unusually short. Not so painfully short that you can’t make it work but hopefully your wiring from the wall isn’t also extremely short. The hardware they provide is less US style(no wire caps) and is I believe the plastic clip connector that is more common to Europe and China. In general I just use my own wire caps since I’m not confident about these connectors keeping the wires attached.Finally, BYO bulb as they do not include one and you will need a somewhat pricey bulb since you need a long T6, T8, or T10 (ie long tubular E26) with your desired color temp.I wouldn’t say this is a terrible light but for the money maybe it isn’t as good as some other less expensive ones out there. Gold is also always tricky especially since these finishes are painted and not a real “brushed” metal. So if you want something more high end at a budget price this probably isn’t it.

I've had the LIGHTLAND Gold sconces for about 3 months now, and honestly, they've been a game-changer for my living room. I was a bit hesitant at first, but after installing them, the warm glow they give off is just perfect.They're mounted on either side of my TV unit, and it's crazy how much atmosphere and depth they add to the space. It kind of makes the whole room feel more cozy and inviting, you know? I use them every evening when I'm winding down after work.One thing I didn't expect was how well they highlight the accent wall behind the TV. The way the light reflects off the textured wallpaper is gorgeous and really makes the colors pop. It's almost like having a little art installation in my own home, haha.As for drawbacks, I guess the only thing is that the glass shades can be a bit finicky to keep clean. Dust and fingerprints show up pretty easily. But honestly, it's a small price to pay for such beautiful lighting.Overall, I'm absolutely in love with these sconces. They've truly elevated the look and feel of my living room in a way I didn't anticipate. If you're on the fence, I'd say just go for it – you won't regret it!
