I got this chandelier because I wanted to save money vs a fully assembled chandelier or worse, paying someone to install it. I think I saved somewhere around $500-750 based on local rates by being able to do this myself.The structure is very straightforward once you get a look at the instructions. It's the assembly process that is elaborate. It requires patience and doing the whole: how do you complete a journey of a thousand miles? With a single step.Once you figure out the process it goes together somewhat quickly for how many pieces there are.Be sure to have a plan to raise it up, or, you could also mount the frame and assemble it in place. Either way, it's going to need help, a lift, maybe both to gently raise it to position.The chandelier will take on the characteristics of the bulbs you use, so choose wisely. Paired with a dimmer you can make it as bright or dim as you like, so long as you use compatible bulbs.It's a beautiful piece that will last a lifetime with minimal maintenance (dusting, replacing the bulbs).In terms of value, it's amazing.

This is an amazingly beautiful chandelier. I look at it everyday ever since we finally installed it.This chandelier is very intimidating upon receipt though. As you unpack the box you are introduced to what seemed like an infinite number of pieces to assemble. I literally had to walk away from it for a few days before taking a second look. My wife and I tag-teamed the chandelier. I assembled the structure. Then she did the detail work. After the initial shock at looking at the parts, I realized, the chandelier was really not that difficult to assemble. It took just a little over an hour to assemble the entire thing.The end result was nothing short of amazing. The metal used for the chandelier structure was decent. From a distance they appear superior. The crystals were absolutely stunning and the stars of the chandelier. They were very high quality, very reflective, very bougee. Upon completion, you are actually left with many extra parts, including several replacement crystals (I guess in case you screw them up and damage them). Also, because my wife and I actually assembled the chandelier, it felt more valuable having put in the labor ourselves.I used Edison bulbs instead of regular LED bulbs. I wanted clear glass so as to take as little away from the crystals. I think that was a good choice. I also added replaced the light switch with a dimmer. These worked flawlessly with the chandelier.Installation Note: This is a legit chandelier and not a wannabe one. The chandelier is very heavy, about 50 lbs. So make sure the location you are hanging it from can support the weight.Overall, this chandelier deserves all five stars despite my initial shock a the million parts it came with. My wife and I could not be happier with this chandelier.

We searched and searched for a suitable chandelier that wasn't thousands of dollars. I wanted a specific size, style and look.
